September Tanker Tuesdays

How long does the Tanker Tuesday last. Im not usually able to get on until about 10 or 1030 est. I have a couple of tanks on Justice and would love to join.

TT usually runs about 2hrs. So we'll still probably be running. Shoot us a tell on the TankHQ channel and if we're not in a TF or Trail, we'll try and get you on a team. I'm not sure which toon I'll be running tonight, mostly likely Shield Blitz, so you can try and send me a tell directly as well.

This coming October 6th, after sixty consecutive months, Tanker Tuesday will be passing another unprecedented milestone in City of Heroes, it's five year anniversary!

In recognition of this unlikely feat, the regular longtime organizers of this night of "Total Tanker Teamage", NetMinder, Pep Rally, Dinah Might, Kiloton, Myrmydon & others, want to invite everyone for some fun events this coming:

Tuesday Oct. 6th starting at 7pm CDT/8pm EDT in the Rikti War Zone.

Some of the events planned (NetMinder):

Tanker Takeover of the War Zone!
7pm CDT/8pm EDT (1 hr before the normal TT start)
We've done it before, and it was great fun. Now you can bring any tanker into the zone, but be prepared for some brutality against those L54 spawns.

NetMinder's Miracle Lottery!
8pm CDT/9pm EDT
Play a mini game and win a Miracle +Recovery IO for any Tanker at least level 10!

Tanker TF Smackdown!
8:05pm CDT/9:05pm EDT
Got a new tanker, need some merits and some starting cash. Lets fix that!
All tankers under 35 willing to do an all tanker TF (any TF) qualify for a cash infusion! Levels 10-15 get 5Mil, 15-30 get 10M and 30-34 get 15M. Of cource tankers above 35 are invited to the TFs as well, but yall have enough money already.

Zombie Apocalpyse!
(no later than 9pm CDT/10pm EDT but immediately after wrapping up TF Smackdown!)
Got a tanker... need another costume slot? Get a set of costume salvage and redeem it and try for a massive zombie spawn, all at once! Lets kick off the Halloween season with a groan heard all over Paragon City.

For those unfamiliar with the event, Tanker Tuesday was awarded the City of Heroes 2nd Annual Player’s Choice Award for Favorite Event!

And back in 2007 the Tanker Tuesday three year anniversary event drew over 400 Tanks plus Developers!

The regular longtime organizers want to invite everyone for a night of "Total Tanker Teamage", so bring your Tanker levels 1 through 50 for some Tanking fun, this:

I'm sorry to say that Impish Kat and I will probably be late to tonight's Tanker Tuesday event, if we make it at all. Something last minute came up and we won't be back for a few hours. Have fun without us if we don't get back in time.
