New brute, stone/shield, stone/fire, or claws/fire.

Well the title basically sums the whole situation out. I've been wanting to make something that can stand there and take everything while dishing out twice as much back. I miss that "omg i'm so powerful" feeling. I know for all of these builds you -need- IO sets and what have you, I've already worked out a stone/shield that has more than softcapped ranged, melee, AOE, with close to 20% for smash/lethal/energy/negative. I'm just worried about endurance.

As for stone/fire and claws/fire I'm not generally experienced building for these, I had a feeling with /fire you should be building for +rech since healing flames would be your " Oh **** " button. Since fire does have consume I could be less worried about endurance, and could use fault/tremor to keep the mobs within burn. Claws can also do knockback but the speed and amount of endurance saved would make it a deadly combo keeping running at a minimum with focus. I'm truely at a cross roads the only thing that could stop me from rolling this would be a spines/fire brute, and if that comes in GR I will most definately cry.

But until that horrible moment of prepubescent rage comes and I break down knowingly put time and effort into a sure to be lost cause, I'd really appreciate your opinions on what to do! Builds, suggestions, theories, ideas, even completely changing the build to something else will all be accepted as reasonable unless they're outright stupid then I'll either laugh or shake my head at failed attempts at humour.
