You have to be level 20 to do the missions that will unlock the cape. Since trial accounts can only level to 14, people on them will not be able to access capes.
One more reason to go to a full paid account!

Also both the Mac Pack and Super Booster 2 come with special capes that can be used by any character without doing the cape mission.
But you can't apply a Booster Pack to a trial account, and if the Mac Pack is applied to a trial, the account is now full, not trial. :P
I'm trying out the trial version and I am no able to find any capes. I know there are some because I tried out a demo at comic con do you need to be a certain level, or buy something from the store, or is it just a trial imitation? Thanks in advance for any answers.
