It's pretty much a persoanl choice on that as I just like it when it does proc.

About the chance for build procs: Having 1 in FU and another in focus means that I get, on average, a 10% of base damage buff over time. So it's like running assault. (10.5)
Really gonna have to look at that build, man. It's tasty.

Yep, I have both procs as well. And an Achille's in Slash.
It's nice on those rare occasions when all 3 fire in a row. Doesn't happen often, but it is cool.
I used to have FA 6 slotted with GSFC, but I pulled a slot out and just 5 slotted it, moving the proc to FU instead. My reasoning for that is: I rarely actually run FA, basically only when I need the extra accuracy for things like romans and rikti drones, other than that it just sits there in my tray. I wanted to actually get some use out of the proc, so putting it in a power that is part of my normal attack chain just makes sense.
As I mentioned before, my usual chain is FU, Slash, Swipe, Focus, Swipe, Slash, repeat. I get 2 chances of a BU proc firing during that, and 2 chances for the Achille's proc to fire (usualy on a minion, go figure) It's not perfect, and my DPS could be better, but I'm pretty happy with it.

it is a thing of beauty when those 2 procs go off. Watching Slash followed by Focus hit for 500+ damage on a pylon... I sometimes have to stop and see if there is a kin around... ;-)
That's my only problem with the build you posted, Iggy. Having the Gaussian CFBU in tactics means that it's only firing off once every 10 seconds which means on average it's only going to go off once every 200 seconds.
Having it in FU means it fires on average once every 105 seconds.
So.. twice as many times per run.
But then you have to figure whether you're losing any damage or recharge on FU while having it in FU.
gahhh, so much silliness.
At this point, I've figured out I'm going to have to bite the bullet and utilize both builds and fully purple them both out. One for AVs and pylons and the other for teaming and AoEs.
And THAT opens up a whole new can of insanity.

trying to remember the build i had posted... don't have it at work.
Getting rid of tactis, picking up boxing and tough to be used as a mule. +3 defense on tough would replace the defense we lost. 5 pieces purple on boxing along with 5 slotting red fortune on FS should shore up the recharge we need to replace CI on FU with the BU proc. 4 pieces mako on slash should replace the damage buff lost. With all that, we're gonna be short of 18 HP for 1800, which I seem to be having a hard time making up... :-(
well I hope that's some what understandable. If not, we gonna have to wait 6 hours here. This job thing is just getting in my way.

On the plus side, the vast majority of my posting is done during the day. 
I'm looking at another build that's pure AV killer. Max recharge. Max HP. Max Regen. I had planned to skip the aoes completely but I think I need spin/evisc as IO mules.

But since I'm sitting here at work bored out of my mind. I went looking on all my saved up Claws/SR build and came across 1 of BillZ's build, probably from awhile back. Using some things from that build, combined it with Patrick Fury's build...
Well lets just have the numbers out since I can't post the build at the moment.
attack chain - Fu->Slash->Focus->Strike (gapless)
HP with all accolades - 1943
regen - 398% (32.3 HP/sec)
damage buff is a tiny bit of 5.5%
81% of global accuracy
and here's the kicker --- it has aidself at 39.2% every 7.24 seconds... :-)
Those stats could solo +4 final Romulus even with the autohit fluffy. Gorram aidself!
My response:
1832 HP
358 regen 27.4 hp/sec
47.9 melee
42.8 range
42.5 aoe
Unless I turn on maneuvers. Then:
50.2 M
45.1 R
44.7 A
87.5 global recharge, barely enough to run FU/slash/focus/strike
25.5 global damage buff
16.9 S/L DR
Depending on what comes in with I-16, I may dump maneuvers and conserve power for something bettah!
Edit: Estimated DPS 218.478. Knocking off 5% for tohit floor leaves me at 207.55.
Oh... and that means I have to take out the ragnarok and armageddon sets to either sell or stick in the secondary build.

Soft cap to all 3, 1802 HP (with all the accolades), 350% Regen, 31% global damage, 107.5 recharge (enough to run FU->Slash->Focus->Swipe) and you get 2 power picks... ;-)
