Presence pool on a dark/rad?

Would taking the presence pool on a dark/rad be a good idea? So far I'm really liking the build, and I'm playing it as a debuffer with plenty of AoE. With all of the -to-hit, and extra +def from the leadership pool, I don't take a ton of damage. Plus it would be nice to stack the AoE fear with Fearsome Stare.

Is this crazy enough to work, or should I focus on other things?

Focus on other things. The PBAoE fear in the presence pool isn't very good, and it's not worth being able to stack it with Fearsome Stare. If it wasn't something you need to get 2 other powers for, then I could maybe see getting it. It really is lackluster compared to Fearsome Stare, though.

Also, if you play your Dark/Rad the way I do, you'll be getting most of the aggro anyways. There's no need to try to get yourself more of it.

Just keep doing what you're doing. Focus on your AoEs and debuffs. They're what make the combo shine.

Off the top of my head, the ST fear is a mag 2 with a 30% change of being mag 3. The AoE fear is mag 2. Both need major slots to be worth anything. With Fearsome Stare and everything else Dark has, the Presence Pool is just really not useful.

Thanks for the advice, all!

I have a good feeling we have a similar playstyle then!

So for pools, I think it will be Leadership up to Vengence (maybe skipping tactics, but it would be nice to stack with the rad debuffs), Leaping for travel and a bit extra defense, Fitness for stamina, and probably Recall Friend.
