Colosseum: A novelty long forgotten

What it comes down to is that there are few PvPers in the game. No amount of badges or redesign will change that (look how bad the i13 pvp changes went over.) I have never had a good time in the arena no matter how many time I have tried. At most I'll just farm the badges with the people that feel the way I do and then leave again. To me the arena was a failed idea. From a business stand point, the resources that would be needed for this would be better spent giving new content to the majority of players.

Back in issue 4 when Colosseum first came out, it was a very anticipated release for many. After it came out, the Colosseum gave many lots of entertainment. But after just a matter of a few months, it died out and few even go there. Right now, the Colosseum is more of a landmark than a place to go for fun. I've gone there a few times and checks the list of events, I've even started events but nobody ever answered my call. It seems like this place of honorable combat and mettle testing has gone unnoticed for a long time. It's time for this to change. The Colosseum needs a breath of new life to attract the new generation of heroes and to call back the old ones. Lets make a call to the devs to redesign the Colosseum. Lets make the Colosseum the place of glorious combat it is supposed to be.
In a nutshell, reason enough to go there instead of going to other places like The Architech, Ouroboros, Pocket D, The University, etc. More badges, more combat, glory, renown. Give a reason for a player to go for top duelist. Temporary powers perhaps. I know we can all come up with a few very good ideas for the old Colosseum.
