Here's a thread for super groups and villain groups that cater primarily to Oceanic timezoned players.

Name: S.I.N.I.S.T.E.R.

Concept: Serve the Oceanic community by providing an active villain group which is open to all.

Server: Justice (the unofficial oceanic server)

RP: Not a primarily RP-oriented group, but we have plenty of RPers in the group as well as several characters specifically created to be part of VG RP teams.

PvP: We aren't a PvP group although we do have some members who enjoy it and do sometimes organize PvP events.

Activity: We're an active VG. Our weekly event night regularly raises enough players to do 2-3 Strike Forces at the same time.

Requirements to Join: Be nice, be considerate, have a sense of humour and don't be a PITA. By all means follow our Rules and Regulations (available on our web site), but ultimately they just boil down to that. Before you join though, best assess how realistic it is for you to play in the Aussie timezones on a regular basis. The main reason a lot of us are here is that it's too difficult for us to play regularly with people in the US; that goes both ways.

Other Details:

We actively discuss events on our forums, and do Strike Forces and other events weekly.
We are loosely allied with the hero group S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L., also on Justice, and we have many shared members with them, although SINISTER is much more active.
We have a fantastic base with all the mod cons, including the obligatory teleporter pads, well delineated inspiration bins, plenty of enhancement storage and a skilled base designer who really cares about the aesthetics and usability of it.
We have a wide range of very experienced players who are extremely ready to answer questions about the game, various ATs and powersets, the markets, inventions etc.

Concept: an all female hero supergroup here to support our fellow heroines, be awesome and look good doing it. Why all female? cause the guys don't look as good in their short skirts and high heels and we fill out our spandex so much better

RP: while not a rp supergroup we have plenty of members that do including myself so if you're after some good rp opportunitys you'll find it.
Activity: while not a focused oceanic supergroup we do have australian members. I am on most afternoons/evenings or other times that allow and we have other people who play at odd times still active afternoons and evenings australian time, early afternoon normally being our most active period of late. And being australian myself i would obviously like to see as many as possible join us.
Requirements: apart from being a female toon(rl gender not a consideration) we prefer easy going players looking for fun and a friendly atmosphere to be part of. Things are generally run on a casual basis although we do have organised events as well like the occassional costume contest, rp night and our badge day all day sundays aedt. Note sometimes conversations will wander into mature territory so if you're sensitive or have kids you might want to keep that in mind.

Coalitions: We are in alliance with several of the other major supergroups on victory

We have a well built up base with a hard working base editor always working on it. Full set of teleporters and storage, well stocked enhancement shelves. We play host to players of all types, including many helpful and experienced players to help you along. We don't have any strict activity levels or prestige requirements we don't make you jump through hoops to join and if you're more a solo type of player that just wants to be part of a friendly SG if you need help occasionally we do that too. I like to think of us more like a family than a group and i like to get to know everyone who joins up. Having fun and enjoying yourself is what we encourage.

Name: Once and Future Kings

Concept: Deposed rulers of their timestreams forced to band together to regain what is rightfully theirs - a world under their thumb!

Server: Exalted.

Website: None. The forum listings for Friday Night Villainy (http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=219831) serve as the reporting point. Events will be announced here at least 2 days in advance by myself (@Plantatia) or by a duly designated minio ... er... temporary team leader. Yes, that's the term.

RP: Totally optional. I will try and stay in character and type out-of-character stuff either in sg channel or with a double opening warning (i.e. ** or {{ ).

PvP: At this point, no. If interest is shown, sure, why not?

Activity: We are still growing, this being only the third or fourth week of gameplay at time of writing. But we are just entering the good stuff - MortimerKal SF range - so with a growing base, we are aiming to fire off multiple events.

Requirements to Join: You are allowed a maximum of 2 toons within the VG. At least one of them must have the Time Manipulation power set, as it fits very thematically with the background of the group. The other toon you are allowed may be of any type, but for thematic purposes we ask that the other toon does NOT have the Time Manipulation set. As well, we ask that you respect general courtesy rules. No name calling, personal vendettas, yada yada yada.

Play times: Friday evenings 8:30 pm Australia time (which is fairly early in North American time in the morning - keep this in mind). We ask that you keep that in mind if you wish to join.

Other fun stuff
The Once and Future Kings come from many worlds - some call technology 'magic', some call magic 'technology', others various wonders. All have one thing in common:

They ruled their world. And somehow, somewhere, someone took that from them.

They have all managed to come to this world. This time. This place. And each instinctively knows the only hope to return to their rightful place is to either dominate this world entirely as a group, or work as a true team to get each other home.

We all know which choice they're taking.

Those who have not mastered time - yet - has managed to bring with them one trusted lieutenant. The others tend to look down on those without the mastery of time, but realize their own lieutenants would be threatened as well should those thoughts become words.

What concerns them the most is that, despite their mastery of time, and despite their awesome powers, they do not know who is directly responsible for their current situation - or how they got HERE. All attempts to find information in any form have resulted in static.
