Niviene kindly created this area at my request for the Oceanic (Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands) community, and those who play in similar timezones (Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong). We can use this area to organize events, meet up and generally just get to know people who play at similar times to us.
As for the name, it is rather fishy, but the strongest contender was "Australasia" which offends me as a Kiwi, and I rather think New Zealandia might not go down so well either.
Of course we won't toss you out if you're a Yank who just happens to like sheep jokes or stays up late.
