Respec Trial
They're out there, yeah. You can advertise that you're forming one on your own here, or in the global channels too, to get the ball rolling.
Good global chans to drop a msg on are:
Freedom Events
Freedom Badge (if you can get on there)
Freedom TF
RF2009
I like doing the lowest level one with a small team the best for speed of running, personally. Read more about the trial on wiki.cohtitan.com.

Thanks Turg. I will try to get one going tonight and will read the information on the wiki - make sure I know exactly what I am getting myself into it.
If I exmplar down to the lowest level one - do I still get the respec? Or is that one of the questions that would be answered on the wiki and I should just look it up myself?

If you have not done a respec trial before, yes you will get the respec offered to you at the end. You can earn up to 3 respecs total (but not have them all at once) on each toon.
|
You just need to be high enough level to be allowed to earn all three respecs.
For example my corruptor, Cold Satisfaction is currently sitting on 5 respecs:
3 earned
1 patron
1 free respec
This does not count any veteran reward respecs earned (I probably have about 8 of those), recipe respecs or purchased respecs.
Free Respecs are the only ones you cannot have multiple of.

You can have all three respec on a char at once.

Thank you - I have not done any respecs on this character - I just made her when I came back recently to the game. Made some slight errors in slotting and took skills that I don't use at all - this time I will plan before I start clicking.
Hopefully one will be all I need, but at least I know I can earn 2 more after that.
I appreciate the information. I am reading about the terra volta mission now on the wiki - looks like it could be fun.
Its not a bad little mission, I run them every once in a while just for the Merits.
I highly recommend using Mid's Hero Designer to plan out your build. It will make things way easier.
I will be on at about 6pm central time if you want to get one going on blueside. Send me a tell @my name is joe
I have a toon that will run the first or second respecs.
I am sorry Joe - I didn't see this till well after 7pm my time. I will be on tonight if you are around. I am definitely down to do the first respec trial - though I have never done it - just read about it.
I should have told you but i forgot, I get on about 6pm but usually play for 6-10 hours. Tonight I have a scheduled arc to run but other than that anytime just send me a tell and i'll hop toons.
Are there regular groups of people doing the respec trial? I made some slight mistakes in my spec and would like to alter them without paying $10. Level 50.
I have never done this trial before and I am not sure how difficult it is, but I read that it required a minimum of 4 people. The person I want to respec is a firekin.
Thanks
