But yeah, working overnights puts a cramp on seeing sunlight.
To echo the others, we like to have fun. We try to run on Tuesday/Thursday but last week and this week have not been very accomodating. Our static group is at level 18 currently, working on the Faultline arc. We've one of each AT minus the epics right now, and tend to mow down enemies for a while and then get overconfident and get spanked hard.
We're levelling fast, which is to be expected with the xp bonus from being in a group and the fast kill rate, but that is not our focus. I'm working on alts in the group now myself, and since we're opening it up to non power armored types now I'll probably have a couple more in the next few days. I've all but abandoned my old server since I've discovered Virtue, and am contemplating moving my characters over if I can sweet talk my wife into ignoring the charges on the credit card.
I see a bunch of people have looked at this thread so far, I hope one or two of you might be interested in joining us.

Originally having started off as a static team, those of us who have lasted so far have found the theme/group so much fun we wanted to keep playing outside our set times and thus started making alts. Now we want to open up the group to any and all who are interested in the theme/concept and who are more interested in fun than powerlevelling, more interested in the story lines than AE and more interested in a relaxed atmosphere than in telling others how to run the toons....
The original members of the Daybreak Patrol run the gamut from RP intensive to all but non-RP but we do like to keep to the theme. The Daybreak Patrol started off as a bit of a shady way for Chief Conrad Bochco of the Paragon police Department to get a few extra Powered Armor volunteers covering the streets of Paragon during the early morning hours when most Capes have either gone to bed or not woken up yet...
Chief Bochco claimed the PPD was looking to buy new Powered Armor for their cops and got many companies to submit prototypes and pilots to showcase their abilities under real life conditions. Before the Chief's scam could be discovered (there was never any real funding for new PPD powered armor) private funding became available which provided the Daybreakers with a base of operations as well as enough capital to expand their hours and invite new members...Thus we open ourselves to anyone in powered armor, to any PPD themed player or anyone who can make a realistic/logical connection as to why they'd be assosciated with this group... (Derrick the Designer, for example, runs with this group because he helped build the base, helps maintain the various armors and their systems and somehow accidentally gave himself superpowers as well...)
If you can fit into the theme, are more interested in relaxed enjoyment than how fast you can advance, and do everything you can not to grief others, then we'd like to welcome you!
We have no level requirements, no experience requirements, and so far our only rule is... Well, we don't really have any rules yet except not deliberately griefing people...
