New to defenders and some Questions on Rad/Sonic...

So I had an empathy/dark waaaaay back when I first started in issue 6. I couldn't really get into him so he was essentially shelved.

However, I've been wanting to try Rad/Sonic and finally rolled it! I've always wanted to make a defender that could debuff the kerbunkles outta something and could reasonably solo and/or be self-reliable in a teaming situation (kinda along the lines of an Offender...). So, without further ado, I have some questions for you fine peeps on this walking Face-Melting defender...

1. What are the main 'blasts' to have from sonic?

2. What are some of the absolutely key rad powers?

3. What's the general tactics in solo vs teaming?

4. Any other particular advice regarding this combination?

As a forewarning I am quite masterful at building and playing scrappers, tanks and brutes. Posting a build (no matter how epic or uber) of a rad/sonic will just look like a whole lotta "Huh?" to me. I'll do my best to understand it, I really will. But overall more informative answers will be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys!

I'll answer number 2!

You need AM, Radiation Infection, Enervating Field, Lingering Radiation, and maybe your heal, and probably EM Pulse. Those are the big ones, and most of them come early.

Choking Cloud is nice to have imo, but end heavy. So, you make your choice there.

I"m only a 37 rad/sonic so my advice isn't end game advice.

1. What are the main 'blasts' to have from sonic?Shriek, Scream, Howl and Screech.

2. What are some of the absolutely key rad powers? Everything BUT choking cloud, Fallout and Mutation.

3. What's the general tactics in solo vs teaming? Going from a scrapper(easymode) to a defender will blow your mind. Personally I play defenders because I find them more challenging, in the same breath I can say it's the reason why I dont want to play them.

Rad/Sonic solo is a single target killing machine. You might as well kill a boss if you're going to kill a single minion. I have time to xp reward troubles with larger groups than single bosses.
While with a group though, it's very easy. Put your toggles on a few mobs, heal now and then and make sure you have accelerate metabolism on as often as possible and you're golden.

4. Any other particular advice regarding this combination? I'm seeing mine really come of his own the later in levels and it isn't a low level potential toon. The higher, the better is really the case with this AT imo.
