After all, that's what they did for Stone Armor (recolor everything except Granite).

I was really looking forward to making my new Peacebringer (Human Only) toon using a different color scheme, but I guess it's not going to happen now . . .

Oh well, the new SS and MA animations should keep me busy for now.
I have a lowbie (20's) peacebringer I'd love to change the colors on her powers and stuff. I'm sure something like that'll come in future updates once they get i16 working and all that jazz.

Now see, I disagree there. Costumes are pretty much what keeps me playing and paying my monthly fee. I am very bored with most of the content because I've done it dozens of times over and over. Low levels are the worst. I've seen this stuff over and over and over and over for 5 years now.

I find the MA helps a bit with this as I get to see peoples costume/mob ideas, but the main thing for me is being able to create any look I desire and come up with stories around said look for back histories or whatever. I like to create. Costumes let me do that. Killing mobs doesn't.

So for my usual enjoyment I need costumes and these kinds of modifications to the game The power customization should help in that area a bit, though many many of my characters have specific colors to match their powers already heh. They may get upgraded color looks and new power colors, yet hardly any new costume looks as very little that is not pay has been released.

I got bored with wow after soloing a warlock to 60 and a rogue to 48ish. The grind in that game is unholy and so boring. I canceled my account when the first expansion came out. Wasn't about to pay 50 bucks for more boredom or needing to be in a high end guild to go raid the new stuff.

Thanks for posting your viewpoint. I do understand it.

Be Well.

I've been charged $16.30 for the last few years, just recently it went to $16.10. I have always assumed that this extra was tax.

Edit: I lived in cali and now live in az as of a year ago.

Incredibly unlikely that you will be able to use Nova without changing to the Nova model. Far more likely to get alternate colors. In terms of game lore the way a Kheldian gains access to the Nova's full powers is by duplicating the original creature's form. As creatures evolved to float in the atmosphere of a gas giant it seems a bit unlikely there were human-shaped Novas floating about.
Just to be more specific about this, the Kheldian, being an energy being, has the ability to shape his energy form into that of the creatures he originally inhabited. So he's not really an exactly duplicate of what a Nova looked like, he's a Kheldian in the shape of the original Nova. Light Form is pretty much the same thing, except he takes on the shape of a human host. (Namely, his current one. )

Now we can assume Novas came in all sorts of different colors, and had various features on their (most likely) physical bodies, but when the Kheldian takes on that form, he's still the color associated with his energy signature. So in it's simplest form, the customization would just be color, while he's in Nova form, it's his own energy as a Kheldian that shows up in a given visible frequency. An even more complex customization option would be to allow you to customize the base body type of the Nova, and customize little details like how we can customize the gloves and boots and chest details of our characters.

What I find odd about Light Form is that it is also a costume, which means again, it is common to all Peacebringers, male or female. I'm not sure why that is, having played a character that was able to turn completely invisible, but had various auras on him, I would think the devs could just use the character's normal costume, just set him to transparent and put an aura around him. I'm guessing, though, that in order to control the aura they have to set it via a specific costume. It's more than just the graphic aura you see on a toggle power.

Anyway, I don't know, I guess I'm throwing out the suggestion to let the normal costume be used. I actually designed a costume I was going to use for Light Form, only to realize it was a costume of its own. So there you go.

I would love to see the option to just maybe change the head of the squiddy - those tentacle things are annoying. keep the tail & body - just gimme a new head option.

I would love to see a set of crystalline spines for spines scrappers. I don't mean big honking chunks of quartz, I'm picturing something slimmer and more graceful- anything but the chunky banana dorks we have now.
