Just before we begin, remember that in the Paragon Third Variation, nonparallel dimensional shunting is available to any player not in knip, transverse river cards cannot be played unless you at least have two gold tokens and the Foggy badge, and playing any Northern or Green Line station in the first six turns will result in a Malta ambush.

So if Samantha's ready with the big board, let's begin...

Swiss Cottage.

I’m insanely jealous, 20 years ago I wouldn’t have given Jazz the time of day – I was young and stupid, if you visit the suggestions section of the forums you’ll find I’m no longer young.

Flirting very close to a Malta ambush there with Bank.

You can, but bear in mind that portals are in play during the Paragon game so you might wind up in the Shadow Shard, Perez, or... *gulp*... the Dollis Hill Loop. (dan-dan-DAAAAHHH....)

With that in mind, I'll go to Liverpool Street and grab the Bouncing badge from beside platform 11.

Not very fair of you - Liverpool Street is way OP in this context.

Not that I blame you for jumping on it, mind you, since your best alternative was Eiffel Tower.

Does the metro lend itself to PTV (Paragon Third Variation)? I'm worried about knip 'lockdown' at Port-Royal. Can we get a ruling on this, as it would be a shame to ruin an otherwise simple (and smooth running) game on a technicality.

I believe so. The other Port Royal (1770, Earth-323-YARR) is acceptable from Eiffel or any other Prime Dimension station but not returning there, as that would be breaking both the narrative causality AND temporal parallels. (Otherwise you'd have powers of pirates with parrots in Paris eating profiteroles). Plus PTV rules specifically ban interfering with the course of human history without good cause.

With that in mind, I'm going to Rockridge(Oakland), 1890, Earth-212-MELB, where I've never seen such cruelty taking place and I can earn at least 5 Reward Merits.

Hmm, time for something a bit more exotic, I think.

Krakow.

Not often used, but oh so effective (I hope, crossing my fingers).

Aw man now I'm all askew.

I'm going to have to take the opposite diagonal here and go Majors Bay.
