Random crashing on CoV/CoH(Vista 32bit)

Is it just the game or the whole machine?
Sounds like it could be heat or possibly power. My 2nd PC had same issue and I needed to upgrade PSU (well swap out with one that worked better).
If it is whole machine I'd suggest making sure the air flow inside is easy (for GPU & CPU) so neither will overheat.
For power try swapping the PSU out for something with a gretaer Wattage output rating eg 350w to 600w.
it's vista, had something similar on my laptop when i wanted to play mugen.
Have you installed the optional patch on Windows Update for NVidia graphics cards?

using a quadcore 6600 processor, 9800gt graphics card 4gb of ram.
it runs fine normally, but after 30-40 minutes (usually, its random really) it'll stop responding and crash. Any idea what could be causing it? graphics drivers are up to date.
