I was not able to create an 14-day-trial EU account for a friend. The U.S. version is very easy and has no problem...Now I understand why the EU servers have deserted

very recently someone has been successful ?

i've create a NCsoft Master Account for my friend, after

- I go here http://eu.cityofheroes.com/en/trial/
- and click on "GET STARTED!"
- insert corret login and password of NCsoft Master Account
- in te panel i see my COH/COV game now and i recieeved a mail "Game Account Activated!"

When i start my EU client login or password not is correct.

Damn is a US account! But the trial is onlly for US servers?

Worked fine for me.

Just looked now and it seems to be a different creation system. The one I use you sign up for master account then apply for a trial account which is applied to master account. Totally different to what I just did then to test it.

Plus if you go to the other Trial link the link just leads back to the normal page.

Hmm no idea how I did it before... However if you're trying to get a friend into the game try this instead:

Not only do they get a trial that works on the EU side of thing but if they then signup you get a months free play time.
