Line breaks in ID text?

How do I stop line breaks being stripped out of ID text these days? I've seen it done, but how?

Apparently the line breaks will finally return once I15 hits live, they have been confirmed by people on the test server.
For now the effect can be achieved by using putting multiple spaces at the end of the line you've been typing (extremely awkward solution though).
