Adding clickies mid mission?
Not yet, but this option is being added in Issue 15.

Oh and is it possible to have the game pick from a group to provide Hostages? eg I want male and female scientists but would rather that the game assigned them randomly from a list.
You could create them as a custom group, containing the scientist models from the Civilian group, and then select that group for the hostages, but the individual hostage as random...

That's what I did but it doesn't seem to be able to use one at random.
I've just gone and had a quick look, and it seems that Civilians are not available for custom groups; you can select a "Random" as the target from them when used as the standard group for a hostage (drop down box, amongst all the individual names), but then you'd get any civilian, not just the scientists. You can try and use custom Crey etc with scientist models, and add "Random Boss" "Random Minion" into the Custom Faction list, and save as a custom group, but then it wouldn't open it up in the editor... I may have messed something up, as my attention on the game is very, very short at the moment, but that's probably the only way (if at all) you can do it. Sorry.
You can add multiple Free Captive details, using different scientists. If you have exactly the same plural and singular navigation text for all of them, the game will still group them properly.
It won't be random, but at least you can have some variety in your models that way.
There's no difference between adding multiple events and just increasing the event quantity as far as your quota of allowed events on the map goes. The main disadvantage is that more events means a larger file size.
Thinking about it, you might also be able to have them appear as Random if you set the spawn location to all being the same (either all on "All", or all events being "Front" etc)... Although the event (and associated triggers) wouldn't be random, the placement of the model would be. The second mission on my arc involves something similar (random map, random ally placement on map, but fixed events) but as Miss C said, it takes a fair amount more space, especially as they are all custom mobs.
Is it possible to add a glowy/clickie object when you complete another object either through the MA (in game) or editing the file? Essentially I want to rescue the scientists who then say go hack the computer. But I can only have the computer spawn from the start.
