It stacks up to 3 times i believe. What i've noticed from both my Kat and BS.

It stacks up to three times, but that doesnt mean you shoudn't take Weave.
You can easily get another 5-6% defence to all defences! That's all of the damage types and all three positionals!There isnt many other powers that would serve a better purpose being /Regen.
What powers were you thinking of taking to replace it?

Yeah you should also take Weave, its nice to have a defence to all, even if the bonus isn't that big. Also it may be worth slotting it with an LOTG +7.5% recharge if you can get hold of one.
But you never know, having weave could be the difference between having time to hit a heal.

Slotting it for defense you can easily break melee def cap with just two applications of it.
