Current Issues With Chat System

Since GR has asked us to not post about the current "chat bug" in a thread about the previous chat bug, I figure this is a good place for us to gather our findings.

This bug has struck me the grand total of once.

I was in the Galaxy City AE building (not the busiest place in the world), I use the afk chat bind on my character.

The bug appears to pull recent keypresses and enter them at the beginning of a newly created message being entered into the chat box.

That's all I've got for details - the more info we provide the devs, the better the likelihood of it being fixed, so please can everyone provide as much factual data as possible.

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

That's an accurate description.

It randomly happens to me in team chat, the text entry will fill up with a string of 0-9s when I hit enter, before I've typed anything else. The following bind always puts a '[' at the beginning of chat (or the bind character).

<font class="small">Code:[/color]<hr /><pre>/bind [ beginchat /send "Defiant Events" </pre><hr />

So, you hit '[' to use the bind and a '[' character shows up at the start of the text message, before you have typed anything. Randomly, you might get a string of 0-9s in as well.

It's also happening when you logout and have to re-enter your password (it's prefilling the password entry with a long list of *************'s)
