Game wont start after the "loading" bar apears

Since one of the last patches the updater did the game wont start anymore. It runs the Updater just fine and when i try to start the game it just shows "Loading" and does nothing at all.

Im running it on a Asus laptop, 1,83Ghz Core 2 duo with 1 GB of RAM, and a Nvidia Geforce GO 7300. Installed newest drivers, and the newest DirectX. Also running Mcafee, but i dont think its because of that, because i put updater and the .exe in the Allow list.

I contacted the Tech support, but they also dont know how to fix it. They recommended to run Everest scan, so they knew more about my computer, but when the scan hits "DirectX input" the software stops scanning and gets stuck on that point.

Now i searched the forum for this problem and its an issue a few others have, but i havent found a solution yet. Could anyone help me ?

Do you need to tell McAfee to allow it again? Sometimes firewalls take things out of their 'allow' lists when the files have changed.

dont think so, permissions still are allowed on both of them.
