RP Architect Missions Discussion

so what level toons are you pitching at MG , and from you first post [ QUOTE ]
Although Villains, the members of the group are more on the "branded evil" side, and have mostly just done things that weren't 'bad' in their eyes.
[/ QUOTE ]..does this mean you dont want real criminals ? or do you mean you do not want "evil" characters ie half demon ,pet puppy roasting ,random decapatating , kill all humans , cyborg ultra killing machines types ?
[/ QUOTE ]
More people who do what they want, but don't think them selves evil?
[/ QUOTE ]
Frankly, the term 'villain' is more often than not a name branded on them by heroes. We're willing to take most villains, anybody who isn't likely to stab us all in the back. Six Sigma runs for anybody who needs somewhere to go. It's almost a sort of sanctuary, villains united by goal, persecution or simply because they have nowhere else to go. The base provides equipment to said villains for whatever reasons they wish, allowing them to work on their goals or business whatever that might be. The one thing is, your business is your own, if it isn't directly related to Six Sigma, don't expect us to pull you out of your own mess.
We will be intending to use the MA arcs for regular SG events, having an entry arc to each division when you join it, often having arcs made by Lunates/Sigma in order to get jobs done and even test current members. One thing is, general MA arc missions would not be confidential, they'd be a mission being done for you Lunate. This would gain you plenty of brownie points if it were to succeed I'm sure, so you'd be free to talk about it with other members, it makes for good RP.
To confirm, we take practically anyone, but if you screw with us because 'you're evil haw haw haw' the Inquisitors -will- take you down.
I will also make a request of having this split into a different thread.
[ QUOTE ]
I'm curious why you didn't make a seperate thread for this VG
[/ QUOTE ]
Awesome, we have interest! Will be doing that very soon when we've established some rules and misc. stuff, but it's still in Beta.
The VG is open for all levels, Inquisitor ranks as well, since it's a RPVG. Although it'd be nice if people would play a real character other than full-RPs for the sake of the VG.
Oh, and I've been slapped on the hand by the Sigma for being a bit too "WAGH WE'LL KILL YOU AND EAT YOUR INTESTINES ON TOAST" in the VG description.. It's all harmless RP, I promise!
The "evil" thing was pretty well put by the others - basically you're not doing anything "bad" in your own eyes.
The Six Sigma will take anyone in however, as long as they do what they're told to.

That.
EDIT: I'd like to mention that we are looking for active, devoted players to fill out the Lunate spots. The Technologic Division Lunate is currently taken by Baron Eternity, but the Combat and Arcane Divisions' are open.
Combat Division's Lunate is the most active rank in the group, as that Lunate is playing a major role in recruitment.
Of course, the Inquisitors and the Sigma will all be there to help them out, we just expect that it'll be tough in the beginning.
Send me or EmperorLol a PM, or post here if you're interested!
@MidnightGuard - on Union you may know me as:

Naga Knight - Stinkspitter
/e Poke any news yet ?
Im now starting work on one Arc story of missions going along with a plotline im running, i'll keep people post as to how it is going and when it will be active.
Hmmm... a thought just occured to me...
I have multiple accounts, and I know a few other people who do, also. This offers us unprecedented flexibility with a little bit of jiggery-pokery.
Branching story arcs.
I have a total of 6 arcs available to me, thanks to my 2 accounts.
I could create an arc on Account One, with the final mission's success dialog pointing the player to one arc, and the failure dialog pointing to a different one (I'd make it so that both of these arcs are from my second account to minimise "Author search" problems). Then those arcs can either merge again, or end the overall arc in different ways.
This bears thinking about...
The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

Ou, Khorak right? Sup bud? Sorry, been pretty busy, and looks like I won't have CoX access after all.. for now, at least.
Empy will be in charge of the VG, so talk to him. Can probably arrange something. But yeah, the Six Sigma is up and going, officially or not - We Need You To Join!

Hmm.. I dunno Birdy. It sounds to me like the two groups of 15 actually take up the entire mission worth of spawns, so that nothing at all will spawn UNTIL the glowie is clicked. Someone needs to test this... Anyone reading from home and has the test server setup?
[/ QUOTE ]
Aha! Perhaps now Red Commissar will be able to pull that lever and see what happens (the one in Nova Prospekt that no one is sure about - unless this has already been done, of course!)
Another way is to make the patrols 'allies' and similarly the ambushes 'allies'.
[ QUOTE ]
I'm curious, how many of you have planned mission arcs?
How many of those are to be used for RP, and how many are just for story telling (whether to RP or not)
[/ QUOTE ]
As I am finding my strengths lie in stories as opposed to RP (it's taken me a while...) I will be happy to 'GM' using the MA. I've already hinted to Omy that I would like to try my hand at a few 'psychic plane' arcs.
The peeps in the know are aware of my plans for an historical story based on certain, well-known characters...
I am also having much fun with storylines based on the legends of Paragon and the super-powered 'World At Large' (just fiddling about with 'A is for Atlas' with plans to do a Dawn Patrol arc (yes, with actual British and French heroes! AND Storm Korps!) in the future.)
Like Shadowe, I too have 2 accounts. But I'm currently sticking with @Arctic Princess and seeing how the current published works are doing before branching out to @AP2. I think the second account will be more for the RP-based arcs which I can put up and take down without need for them to be rated etc. Plus I do tend to spend a lot of time and energy in creating the things so will be keeping everything in my local folder and making important back-ups.
So, to answer in brief (!), I will be mainly focussing on 'Stories' with an occasional dabble into 'RP'.
Yeees... me thinks we are at the nub of playing villains ..finding a likeable villain ...or the willingness to be bad ....which I think is why I struggle with playing CoV toons
I find I end up playing very derivative villain types ..a very movie style east end of London gangster type . ....A monster/beast type ...... the attractive intellectual magic using necromancer ...
not so much villains but stereotypes than avoid the evil question..
