City of Heroes Upoader isue

Hi everyone.

Ijsut signed up for the trial version and all ready I ve ran into trouble while trying to download it. As soonas it download, it idn't download the clientto my computer, instead it is running the City of Heroes Updater. The picture on the window is red boxed, there are zeros next to the time remaining and how much has been downloading but it says Connecting...#630 (it has been running all night and is still going). so, what do I need to do to get it working so I can play? Thanks in advance!

not sure whats wrong there the 2 things that i can think of are either its being blocked or the shortcut is pointing to the wrong updater.

so first of right click the short cut on your desktop and go tho the short cut tab provided you installed to the default location you should have a shortcut that's target is

C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.eu.exe

however it seems quite common for the short cut to end up pointing at the US updater instead (C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe) if that's whats happened just edit the target so that it reads

"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.eu.exe"

hey presto your now connecting to the EU

if you still get the "connection...#(insert number here)" check your fire wall and make sure CoH is trusted
