do you have an antivirus? Is its subscription current? If not, you may try Kaspersky Online ( http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner requires Java 1.5 or higher.) Not the best one, maybe, but reasonably good and easy to use, then google whatever it finds for removal tools...
You may also try HijackThis http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en...ols/hijackthis but its scans are meant to be interpreted by someone who knows what they're doing, there are whole internet forums on hijacthisomancy. 
Oldie, but still worked last time I used it http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm Allows you to see the list of IE plugins and disable them.
And last, but not least, switch to Firefox/Opera/Chrome, at least until you figure out what's going on. I'd recommend Opera personally (it has some very useful features for low-vision users), but Chrome looks nicier and FF is more popular and both are somewhat simplier to use.
Use firefox. Or any other browser rather then IE. And for antivirus, i recommend NOD32 and trojan remover.
3 bits of anti Malware software I'd use and would recommend, partly because they're really thorough and seem to get rid of most things, mainly cos they're free.

I'd also suggest going through add /remove programs and uninstalling any and all Toolbar plugins for IE that you've managed to acquire. Google, Windows Live, Yahoo are the most common culprits and I've seen these cause all sorts of weirdness in IE.

It seems to have fixed itself during weekend. I had computer turned off while family visited. Then when i booted up on sunday i got a popup in msn if i wanted to update my profile, and now i can see peoples profiles, i could also follow download links and finally got the f'in games for windows client so i could buy fallout 3 expansion.
Not sure what the error was, heh. Seems to have fixed itself tho.

Seriously, unusual browser behavior MAY mean trojan/advare infection, so you can't be over-cautious. And if it goes after the reset, - well, it's nice and all, but don't count on it every time.
My internet explorer is acting up wierd lately.
For example, when i try download from microsoft i get "page cannot be displayed", when i try view profiles from msn i get same error.
I can surf normally without much incidents, tho sometimes when i click links it goes back to previous page, like if i search on google and click a link it goes back to google main page, second time i click link it's fine tho.
Also whenever i reboot, the very first time i start internet explorer it shuts itself down, then second time i start it, it launches and i can surf etc.
Kind of sounds like i have some virus or something.
The only thing i installed between when it worked and the way it almost works now, is i installed Live Messenger 2009.
Tried search on google but my search fu is apparently weak. Anyone got ideas? pretty please with sugar ontop.
