Police Chief Baton bugged?

I've finally managed to earn the Police Chief Accolade on Fire-Brand but he doesn't seem to have received the Baton power. Is this a known bug?

Nope, you have to log out in the location again after you have earned the accolade before you can start earning charges.

I really should do something about this signature.
