forcefields PFF

Hey guys just a quick query, im thinking of making a mastermind, robots/forcefield but does personal force field still allow you to control pets when its active?

asked in game but it doesnt seem anyone knows at the minute.

[/ QUOTE ]It does not. "Only Affecting Self" effects work like mez effects in regards to pet commands, disabling them for the duration.

It also suppresses Supremacy, Dispersion Bubble, any Leadership powers, and probably pet aura IOs too.

And if you can't figure out why this is, well...

yeah i thought it would be a bit overpowered with perma capped defence

The pets will still carry out their last orders and behave as per their stance. Run around with Follow/Aggressive and you can keep PFF up (just not be able to support your henchies).

And with bots as a primary and I think Black Scorpion patron you can have capped S/L without IO bonus' so don't really need PFF (I respecced out of it)
