This sounds so much fun even though I probably cannot join in until the third Tuesday from now - at least I can continue to level up.
One question - I tried to get invited to the SG by uther but he didn't have permission to do that yet - is this going to be reviewed? (want to do my part in supporting the SG get prestige)

Pity you can't join us for a while since even the low levels (pre-stamina) have been great fun.
The SG permissions need to be agreed and sorted out. All core members need to be promoted above underling rank so they will be able to invite new recruits to the SG. I'll try and remember to do this on Friday evening. Send me a tell next time you see me online and we'll get your toon invited to the SG.

Thanks to those of you who turned up for the Positron TF race last night. It was a close run thing with the two teams finishing within 5 minutes of one another.
The plan is to do a similar thing on Tuesday evening and have a Synapse TF race. The minimum level for this is 15 so try and level up your toons if you haven't managed to get to the minimum required level yet. Cya in Skyway by the TF contact @ 8:00pm GMT

Hey guys great night again... Thanks for all the leaders for leading the mayhem, really enjoyed it. A lot of us hit 20 which is cool but sucks that we couldnt do Synapse TF today but now we are 20 we shall plough tho it next tuesday (7:30 GMT)

Yeah, it was a pity about last night. Not sure if this is a new or old bug, but we ran Synapse on heroic and the highest level toon in the team was 16 and we got level 21 mob spawns!!! As Protector says many of the SG now level 18-20 so well run this TF next Tuesday which should be more manageable. Due to the time zone differences well not make this a race since teams will be starting between 7:00pm 8:00pm GMT so people can get to bed at a reasonable time. A few players in the SG have missed the last couple of weeks so it would be good if they can get the chance to try and get their toons up to level 15 so they can join us for this TF.
Since the Valentines event is now running Im proposing that we get together in Pocket D on Friday around 8:00pm GMT and do the Valentines missions. Well need to find a villain whos willing to assist or maybe one of us can use a villain toon to get the mission to allow us to get the handsome/beautiful badge and unlock DJ Zero as a contact. Hopefully see many of you there for some badging and Snaptooth bashing action.
I wont be around on friday but I was thinking of logging in with skinjob and getting him to 20 by doign the valentines missions on thursday. keep an eye out for me if anyone's online.
great fun last night. its a pity about synapse but we can sort him and his mechanical friends out next week. (really hope we can get a multi-mega babbage brawl going ).
its a pity as i was originally hopin gto level up through the task forces primarily but there was no way a group of 15s and 16s were getting through those 21st level clockwork. I contracted a bad case of Belhor in the first mob and had to be rezzed, just in time to meet the second lot.. we'd have been resting every two minutes and earning very low xp (66xp for a lvl 21 cannon knight ? is that right for a lvl 16 scrapper? )
I will be on this Friday but I am not sure if I can make it next Tuesday because my sister and her baby are coming to visit.
If we do the Freedom Phalanx TFs close to the max level then the positive side to this is that it gives us the opportunity to do other story arcs to unlock things like the Katie and Hess TFs. It also means that if anyone has missed the previous weeks SG session that they will get a chance to catch up a bit.
In future I'm aiming to post future event stuff on the IJ forum since Ramon_Daark has done a fab job getting this up and running.

It would be great for you to join us. Hopefully you read the beginning of this thread, since it describes the SG background/theme and preferred powersets. The important things are that your toon MUST be of a magic origin and your costume make you demonic in appearance.
A kin defender is cool since this powerset can be magically justified. Sonic attack as a secondary powerset isn't currently an 'approved' for toons in the SG to use, although I would support this being added to the list since I don't see why a demon can't scream and wail to inflict torment and suffering upon mortal beings. Unless anyone else in the SG objects this will be fine with me.
Hopefully your toon is of magic origin? If not would you be prepared to recreate them as so or create a completely new toon?

All my toons are tech based makes the whole cyborg look more plausible and I love my nem staff was really offering him up as filler should you be in need of the serives of a kinetics defender or need more for a TF or even just to team on occasion

As I already posted on Infernal website, I can offer either a lvl 8, or 2, or even 16 villain to unlock DJ if needed, however I'm running my own TFs schedule in Union along the weekends, so I will be able to help you using any of them just for 1 hour or so.

Thanks for offering up villains to help with running the Valentines missions. We'll first see if we can get a PuG villain to join us, but if we have no joy then we may need to take you up on your offer. I've got a higher level villain we can use in order to get you IJ toon through the missions afterward.
In future can we please move such discussions to the IJ forum, rather than cluttering up the global defiant one with our trivia.

As posted in IJ, I farmed these badges last night; just for general information Hordelings (needed 200 for badge+gladiator) show up in lvl 14-16 red side missions, while Hellfrosts+Succubi (needed 50 for also badge+gladiator) appear in lvl 34 red side missions.

We had another fun packed demonic mayhem session on Tuesday night. Most of us made it up to level 15 by the end of the evening. Doing the Frostfire mission on invincible was a bit of a let down since this pansy boy only lasted about 10 seconds while he was burnt, frozen, darked (!) and clubbed to death. I wasn't able to get a screenie of his demise, but somewhere in the carnage is a picture of Keystone getting his comeuppance: Your souls will be mine, Muhahahaha
There was a lot of interest shown by everyone to do the Positron TF this Friday, 6th Feb. This has a level cap of 15 so will mean that those toons which cant make it wont get left behind. The min level for this TF is 10 so for those in the SG who had to log early or couldnt make it on Tuesday have an opportunity to level their toons and catch up with the main group.
For those who are interested well meet up again under Atlas at 8:00pm GMT. We need to decide if we want to do this with one, two or three large teams or lots of smaller teams of 3 or 4. From my experience smaller teams tend to do this quicker since the larger mob spawns (especially CoT) can be challenging. We could make a race out of it to make this looong TF a bit more fun.
The more of us who get to level 15 the better since the plan for the regular Tuesday night SG session is to do the Synapse TF. Again we could make a race out of this to make it a bit more fun. For those in the SG who arent level 15 yet and cant make it along for Positron on Friday try and level up you toons if possible to join us for Synapse on Tuesday.
Ill probably log on over the weekend to get the Skyway safeguard lined up and maybe the Rescue Mr Yin Mission for the badges and so we can access his shop for SO magic enhancements. If anyone in the SG needs help levelling I can SK and hopefully get you a level or few.
Anyway hopefully see a bunch of you on Friday for Positron and everyone next Tuesday for Synapse.
