Taunt on Mace/Shield Brute

I made a Mace/Shield brute recently and took her to level 14 tonight just now. I have taken Taunt at level 12 and I noticed that Taunt (on my female character) uses the male taunt voice instead of the female one. It sounds so weird!!
If I switch all the Shield toggles off, Taunt will use the female sound effect again. It only uses the male sound effect when Shield is up. So Mace alone: female taunt voice; Mace with Shield toggles up: male taunt voice effect.
It's just odd. Can someone fix it, please?
