Biographies - What's yours?

I've had a quick search and can't see anything of this sort. When I'm in a team and waiting for someone I tend to kill time by checking out other members bios. Just thought it would be cool to see what people write. I'll start with my first toon.

Dave N Smith:

After being bought up by Puritan parents it wasn't until he attended Lincoln University in New Zealand that Dave discovered that his body metabolised alcohol in a different manner to ordinary people. After consuming large amounts of alcoholic beverages Daves senses became sharper, his dexterity improved and his strength was magnified. An early bar room brawl and a brush with the law lead to Dave travelling to Asia to train with the masters of martial arts and hone his alcohol fueled abilities.

Never found far from a bar, Dave tends to stick to beer as liquor gives him a hangover after a fight and wine makes him fight like a girl.

You can read any or all of my character bios here.

However, I don't go in for the 'potted character history' school of bio, so you may be dissapointed. (Plus, some of them don't really have a bio aside from noting that I roleplay. It's useful sometimes to warn people... )

Disclaimer: The above may be humerous, or at least may be an attempt at humour. Try reading it that way.

I made a start on a set of bio's for my toons which attempted to link them all together in some way. Lost interest after a while I'm sorry to say. Hardly seemed worth the effort since there isn't enough room in the in-game bio and no way to display a URL properly in-game.

My truckload of biographies can be seen by clicking on the linky in my signature below (My 'best' hero bio = Princess Noir, villain bio = Rose Madder.)

My bio addiction has developed in tandem with my alt one - once I'd created one for one character the others just seemed incomplete without them. My hero bios tend to be tongue-in-cheek, whilst my villain ones are generally darker (that probably says something very warped about my psyche, but hey-ho....)

And yes, I too like to click on other people's toons to read their bios. It's good to meet a kindred spirit!

Thanks guys, it's always interesting to see what other people wrote. Nice story on Rose there Feralyn, similar to my villian, with the anger at the father thing.
