Quit it and try again - it will continue from where it left off but probably a lot faster - assuming you're not on a 28k dialup link or busy downloading 200gig of torrents or something else using up all your bandwitdth

If it says it's fixing files then it isn't actually downloading, it's repairing files that don't match its checksum. Sometimes the checksum can get corrupted and it causes it to keep trying to fix things that aren't broken.
If you look in the CoX folder there should be a .checksum file - delete that and reopen the updater; hopefully it should start working again.
