Cyborg + Wedding Double Pack

Since the G V E is actually cheaper than getting both seperate CoH and CoV, though it doesnt really matter anymore, I thought why not for the Wedding and Cyborg packs. Create a "double pack" that is cheaper than the regular £5.99, like £9 pounds or something. (25% off) Or even do a Triple pack with Wedding + Cyborg + Jumpack for £10. (33% off)

I believe this will encourage to get them all in one big package. When more booster packs are realased, we do the same. I'm not saying replace the current ones, just add a "Double/Triple pack" to the PlayNC Store.

What are your thoughts on this?

Sounds like a reasonable idea to me. I know some folks aren't bothered about the wedding pack, but I'm sure a few would be swayed if you got all 3 goodies in one hefty package.

it does attracts ppl to buy it because of the lower price then normal, so even if it's a bit cheaper then separated, NCsoft is still profiting from it.

trouble is most of the goodies have now been purchased by those who wanted them. The die-hard fans all have the wedding packs and cyborg kits.

Also let's remember the wedding pack isn't likely to be purchased by people who weren't around during the time of the wedding. It was a fun thing but it's got no general meaning. Sure the cossie options are nice but would a new player buy them?

In other words, if you wanted the wedding pack bad enough you'll buy it. If it's combined with the Cyborg pack, then maybe a small percentage more units of a combined pack will get sold but the total revenue will be lower. So combining them into a single option might mean that the few additional packs that get sold hurt the sales of the wedding packs.

Perhaps once we've had say 4 "bolt on goodie" packs released then there may be a good case to say buy all 4 for £20 (or Euro/$ equivalent) thus saving £4 but don't hold your breath. Hell they haven't even released a single combined pack from CoX since GVE and in game terms that's over half the games life away.

Sadly marketing isn't NCSoft's strong point and they frequently manage to fail to capitalise on their top properties

I bought it long after the wedding event. At the same time I bought cyborg, actually, and that was a while after the cyborg pack was released. Don't underestimate the pull of costume options.
