Removed Threads & Forum Etiquette

For some time now I've left the long thread about server populations open despite needing to clean it up several times and issue reminders about the forum rules and guidelines. I was willing to leave the thread open as long as discussion remained civil, within the forum rules, and did not spill over into other threads.

We've read and noted the feedback provided by everyone, and it will be taken on board. As previously indicated, however, there are no current plans for any changes to the server structure.

Unfortunately over the weekend there were further problematic postings prompting me to remove several threads temporarily for moderation. I'm still working on those threads, and I'll still be working on them tomorrow.

The threads removed were removed because they contained, or were related to threads that contained, numerous posts that were in breach of the forum rules and guidelines. Including, but not limited to, the following: <ul type="square">[*]Duplicate threads discussing the same (or very similar) topic(s) as existing threads[*]A high volume of non-constructive posts and rants[*]Repetitive posting of the same content[*]Trolling[*]Personal attacks[/list]My tolerance for frivolous and/or non-constructive posts made over weekends has now reached zero. I encourage everyone to review the Forum Rules and Guidelines in detail.

I have removed (and more may go as well) a lot of threads this morning so that I can conduct moderation investigation and assessments.

Whilst this moderation is ongoing I must request that no new threads be created to continue discussion on the topic of server populations. Likewise, any discussion of whether the Zombie Apocalypse is working properly should be directed to the Tech &amp; Bugs forum and discussion should remain limited to the technical aspects of the event (I have moved a couple of threads there).

At this stage, because of the tone of postings over the weekend, any posting of new threads on these topics will be considered trolling.
