I just tried to start the game and it hung repeatedly although it has worked but a few days ago.
It hangs on the loading splash screen before the game should come up in fullscreen.
What the difference is with then', I'm not sure and since I have little time at present I'd like to avoid getting too deeply into diagnostics if it isn't even neccessary; hence my post here.
I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate.
Has anyone ever seen or had this problem before or are there any obvious potential causes that I'm unaware of?
If it helps anything, my hardware includes an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450, 4 GB of DDR3 SDRAM and an ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2.
