Ok so i sit down ready to do citadels TF click on coh link on my desktop and get this...
CohUpdater.EU.exe has enocuntered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for inconvenience.
so i send error report try again and same thing, even after reinstaling the updater it won't work, any ideas what may have caused this??
I haven't changed anything or installed anything new, (virus check is running now).

no spyware or viruses either!!
even a complete reinstall doesn't fix it!

Have you tried a reboot? I used to get this from time to time in XP, and a reboot usually cleared it.

reboot isn't any help either.

have raised a ticket but really want to get playing this game so if anyone got any suggestions other than reboot / cold reboot / reinstall windows (dont know how to do the 3rd of these) then please be my guest in trying to help.

I t sounds like a corrupted driver to me. Did you try a clean install? You must remove all traces of the old driver so as not to produce conflicts. If you need directions, just ask! Good luck, and don't give up.
