you mean softcapping defense? i tried to fill in the psi hole with ranged def instead.

Due to most defence set bonuses being positional, that's fantastically hard to do on an EA toon. As (unless i'm mistaken), it's typed defence.

Yes its typed defense hence my confusion.
And i didnt want to make a recharge build because i want a stable performance not depending on the godmode, and no i am not going to lolpvp.

From what i've seen of EA, gearing towards having your Tier 9 up as often as possible seems to be the only real way to make it perform noticeably well. With a lack of a self heal (within the set itself), it's your only real panic button when fecal matter hits the fan. It's a pretty mediocre set, with a very good God power (a defence based partner to /elec, in that light).

It's certainly possible to get by without it, but if you are going to dedicate time to it, then some recharge to get it up as often as possible = advisable. Of course, you don't have to perma it to be any good...that's just ridiculous

HAving said that, you're DM. Siphon life, and all that -tohit, gives you a massive edge over /EA combined with any other set. Taking that into account, you're not really required to do anything more than that build (imo)...the synergy is that good
