Vet Rewards -> Vet Reward Tokens

I've been playing since EU launch but due to one thing or another haven't actually been subscribed for that length of time, on one account currently just over 24 months and the other just over 12 months (though this account is older ). Having seen some of the later Vet rewards but knowing that I am unlikely to ever achieve these I wonder if it is possible to change the vet rewards making it easier for those of us who haven't been playing as long as others to still gain some of the rewards.

So I have two ideas:

1)Add Veterans Reward Tokens. This isn't instead of Vet rewards but you only get a token for an unclaimed vet reward. Then rate each Vet reward to its token value, unique things would cost more tokens, so a 51 month reward would cost more than a nine month reward. But not extremely so. Some rewards like respecs and costume slots could then be avoided if you don't need them and their tokens spent on something more rewarding.

2)Add veteran rewards when you buy the play-time rather than after you have spent the playtime. While it could be said that you could then refund the unplayed months to get stuff early, you'd only be able to play what you have paid for.

the way i see it, vet rewards will never change from how they are now, simply because the people who have paid/earned the 51 month (for example) vet rewards would be miffed if a 9moth vet could buy the one that they want when they acrue enough tokens. Does that make sense?

Id love some of the later stuff, but I really dont see how it would get through. And it could be abbused too easily.

I'd add even more rewards, some of which would only be purchasable with significant prices... not like 51 tokens for sure as that would defeat the whole thing but make it doable for everyone, rather than just those who had the foresight and cash to start when the launched in the US.

While it is technically possible for an EU subscriber to get 51 months now... by the time they do another 51 months will have been added.

Hmmm, point. But still, the whole 'paying for cool stuff' will totally defeat the object of veteran rewards.
Booster packs, on the other hand, look to be a sell-out sucess. I think they will get a lot of love and attention in the not too distant future.
