Global Chat
Corrected an issue where Tabs changed what channels they contain when a character zones.

I thought "Yay!" and yes, today's patch fixed it... pity now the channels change colors everytime you zone... again.

So the new patch has fixed something that was broken and broke something that was fixed.

Already petitioned and all that, it would be nice to have both features working and stuff...

Edit: Ah, scratch that, channels on tab STILL CHANGE when I get into a mission, but not when I leave the mission

Oh, didn't know that, my channels didn't change customized colours before this patch and now they do so everytime I zone so I thought that issue was fixed, now I have to load chat settings file everytime I zone to keep my customized colours.

Anyway, I took the time to petition, first the colour change and second, I put a separate petition to make them note that, upon certain zoning (entering mishes) channels contained on tab still changed, which seemed relevant to me after today's patch which is supposed to fix it.

Received the first reply, first petition was escalated to development team (yay!) but second petition was closed because "This issue detailed here appears to have been previously reported to us" . For some reason (dunno, I must have become a man with faith in miracles for some reason) I updated my second petition noticing that the subject was different, 1st petition was about changing colours and second was about channels themselves (which, again, was supposed to be corrected on patch).

I just received an enormously helpful post explaining me how to sort it, which I'll quote here because I feel like it:

Thank you for contacting the PlayNC Customer Support team. There is not a simple way to change your chat windows back to the default settings with the click of a button. The easiest way to return the chat windows to their default settings is to create a new tab called "Global" and include these options when you Edit the tab:

- Broadcast
- Error
- NPC Dialog
- Request/Auction
- Rewards
- System

Create another tab by right clicking the first tab, then select "Add Tab". Name this tab "Chat" and include these options when you Edit the tab:

- Coalition
- Broadcast
- Emotes
- Friends
- Local (default)
- Private Messages
- Super Group
- Team

This will create another tab within the first one. Now drag the new tab labeled "Chat" below the original tab and this will give you the top-bottom format. The next thing you will need to do is add a tab to your top window with the previous method, naming the new tab "Combat" and including these options when you Edit the tab:

- Combat Warnings
- Damage Inflicted
- General Combat
- Damage Received
- Error
- Healing Received
- Healing Delivered
- Rewards

The final thing to do is add a tab called "Help" to your top window and include the following options when editing the tab:

- Help (Default)
- Rewards
- System

This will give you the exact format as the default one. Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions or concerns.

It has been said before on these forums by rednames that sending petitions helps identifying and sorting problems, well, I'm no redname, but I have to say that READING petitions sent would also probably help sorting problems, but what do I know, must be my English, although for some reason I dared to think it wasn't that bad that couldn't be understood.

Hope my incident reply update to this was not too harsh, but who knows... or cares.
