Character recovery question. please help.

I have tried several times and am at my wits end about logging in with already created characters.

I have my character, Firefly Alpha right. I worked him up to level seven and quit the game.
So the following day i start the game and enter my server. ( Union )

So heres where my problem begins.
My character is there on the screen. Highlighted and visible on the screen, but the enter Paragon city button remains grey and unusable.
Someone help me with this please. What am i not doing?

It sounds like one for the real support team to look at - I'd raise a ticket either on the main web page or by petitioning in-game with one of your other toons (be sure to mention the stuck toon's details!).

Have you actually clicked the character you want to log in as? If that doesn't work, me no know.

Yes. I left click the character.

Hugely unlikely - a firewall would block pretty much everything, and definitely wouldn't disable a button in-game.

FWIW I suspect a minor database glitch, which the GMs should be able to sort if you let them know about it.

I've asked the same question to the support guys in game. And they have yet to come back with a reply. So i was wondering if some others here are experiencing the same diffculty might shed some light

FWIW I've seen others report a similar problem from time to time (like once every 3-ish weeks) for ages. AFAIK always fixed after support were brought in.

I've seen this before, and it's caused by an error in the account database. Support CAN and will fix it for you easily enough. I'm surprised it's taking them so long actually...
