Fire/Kin build critique?
Family mission is no longer the farm mission doe to a hefty nerf from the powers that be.
Get yourself - Battle Maiden + Warrior clan mission.
As for build, here are a few glancing suggestions to change.
* Don't Slot Char, Farmers have no use for single target holds.
* Change swift for hurdle, with Superspeed you don't need it Hurdle will make up for lack of vertical movement
* Siphon Speed should be 6 slotted for full accuracy + full recharge, if you can get these percentages from IO Sets do so but don't sacrifice it for sets
* No need for a stealth IO, farmers want the agro.
* You need Kockback protection Io's in both Epic shield + tough
* I don't use weave or any Defense, +2 Mobs don't often miss :/
* for gawd sake 6 slot Fulcrum shift, 3acc 3rech
* Hover? Don't start me.
My Fir/Kin/Fire is a great farming toon, i got 2 toons from creation to level 30 in past 4 days, and i only play after work for a few hours... get me in game at @Donna for an example and a few runs.
Carlsberg don't do Farming,

Use this mainly to stop the random stragglers, if i down a mob and there's just one guy left - don't particularly want to waste a fireball with him. 5 Slotted for the 10% Recharge, allows me to nip Perma Haste.

Back when i originally began farming, I had no knockback protection - hover gave me the protection that I needed. Plus I enjoy the feel of capped fly speed and float at head level of the mobs. Not sure if it still does, but back in i7 you could float over a mob, they'd take hot feet damage and couldn't melee you.

Figured that with an enhanced base +169% accuracy and 183% recharge and slotting the powers with 83% accuracy and 83% recharge enhancements I wouldn't need to six slot them.
Could only get an extra 10% on each per slot, thought I could find a more effective use for them.
I've taken Tough and Weave just because I realised i'm practically capped for defense - I love to grab as much as I can and need to guarentee myself NO downtime for anything. Exra defence means less heals which means more attacks. That and I couldn't find anything better to waste three powers on that would be half as effective ;D

Not too fluent with Battle Maiden map - from what I remember, it's easy to miss a few mobs.
Any other input is definatly needed and greatly appreciated!
I'm not really sure why you have consume - its has too long of a recharge, and i don't think you'll be using it much at all, with the amount of global recharge you have from sets transference will be back up prety fast, FS 5 slot it atleast, for 3x Recharge IO's, if you're farming don't really bother with hover, weave is too much of a end hog for such a small amount of defence. I would just get tough, manoevers (instead of weave to slot LoTG rech) and then Tactics. Short list of how i would change you're build. Send me a pm @liqour if you want more explained

I'm pretty new to the forums, but have been playing since i2 untill i7 where I took a long break from the game. Having returned, 5 issues onwards, a lot has changed in the aspect of power slotting.
I created my fire/kin, Futz, in issue 3, before ED and used him for farming the Dreck mission to help fund my many other alts throughout their levels, PLing my friends and just running the map because i enjoyed the feel of his awesomeness. All of this has left him with a hefty 800 Million Inf
Now that i'm returning, i've lost my Dreck map and have collected the Family mission from Unai.
This build is set to farm Family only; no exemping, no travel powers, nothing unecessary. Inf is no problem as i can easily pick up some more. If anyone can tell me if/where i'm going wrong and give some general slotting advice,
