Charging Inf for no weapon change?

If anyone else has had this it would be nice to know whether it actually does charge or not. Also I couldnt see any posts regarding this so tell me if there is.

Well I used to play CoH a while ago and only just come back, using an old toon I have been to the tailers for the costume mish and have fiddled about with the look.

Everytime I have opened the costume change window when having a makeover, (only actually changed two things but have messed about then quit a few times) it shows an inf charge for my weapon.

I reset the weapon and the charge still shows. I select every possible weapon but the charge still shows?

Now the weapon customisation wasn't around when I played before and I'm pretty sure it only does this on my katana scrapper.

Luckily I had some free tailor sessions so it didn't charge me anyway.

Anyone else had this or knows a reason for it?

There have been several reorders of some costume items over the years, and each time they do that, they issue a costume token so that people can correct their costumes at no cost.

That was not excactly what his question was...

I never seen a cost made and on reset not be removed. Also... it's only on one toon. It seems like a small bug on youre toon make-up.

Does it do it still? Even after you exit the tailor and retry. Or after you had changed the weaopon... exit and retry?

If you select a new weapon... you get charged. If you reset charge should be removed.

I know what the question was, Liz. I gave the answer I did, because that IS the reason. They changed the indexing of several costume items, and resetting is unable to correct the indexing properly (even though it may not appear that the costume piece always actually is changed, it fixes the internal index number, which the system sees as a chargeable change), hence the costume tokens were issued so that people could correct it without it costing them influence.

yeah it happened every time in every circumstance you mentioned liz. Haven't checked since tho so may be ok.

Ah that could explain it FFM. Tho I'm not sure thats why this particular char had the tokens as my others also had the same number of tokens even tho the charge didnt occur.

Thought I got them through vet rewards or something.

Well I will look into it again, if my 2nd costume shows up as a charge for the weapon, (which it shouldnt as I obtained the 2nd costume after the customisation) then it could just be my char.

Thanks for the replies ^^

Well, they couldn't tell who would be affected, so the costume token grant was global. You got one token for each costume slot on each character.
