Devices for Controllers secondary Power Table Idea

Devices or Traps as a Controller secondary has been suggested a few times, so thought I'd put some ideas together into a Power Table.

Mainly recycled powers, but a few brand new and slightly changed ones too.

[u]Devices[u]
Devices are equipment you have constructed for use in combat. By using them strategically, you can gain a great tactical advantage. Traps, non-lethal munitions, team buffs and debuffs are available in this power set.

[u]Web Grenade[u]
Upon impact, the Web Grenade expels a strong, tenuous, and very sticky substance that can Immobilize most targets. This non-lethal device deals no damage and does not prevent targets from attacking, although their attack rate is slowed. The web can bring down flying entities and halts jumping.
Unslotted Recharge: 4 seconds
-Recharge: -12.5%

[u]Smoke Grenade[u]
The Smoke Grenade envelops all those in the affected area in a cloud of smoke. Most villains will not be able to see past normal melee range, although some may have better Perception. If the villains are attacked, they will be alerted to your presence, but will suffer a penalty to Accuracy.
Unslotted Recharge: 15 seconds
Unslotted –ToHit: -5%
-Perception: -90%

[u]Siphon Device[u]
By throwing a small sonic device at your foe, you send small but powerful sonic vibrations throughout their body, weakening their damage resistance.
Unslotted Recharge: 16 seconds
-Resistance: 22.5%

[u]Caltrops[u]
You toss a handful of Caltrops at a targeted location and spread the tiny metal spikes over a large area. Any villains that pass over the Caltrops will be forced to move at a slower rate. They will also take some trivial Lethal damage over time.
Unslotted Recharge: 60 seconds
Unslotted –Run Speed: -650%
Unslotted Damage: 46 ticks of 1.34 damage (lethal)

[u]Group Cloaking Device[u]
The Group Cloaking Device is a small machine that when laid on the ground grants partial invisibilty to you and your team members. While Cloaked you can only be seen at very close range. If you attack while Cloaked, you will be discovered. Even if discovered, you are hard to see but will retain some of your defense bonus to all attacks. Unlike some stealth powers, the Cloaking Device has no movement penalty. The Group Cloaking Device will stack with other forms of Group Concealment powers such as Group Invisibility, Shadow Fall or Steamy Mist.
Unslotted Recharge: 270 seconds
Unslotted +Defence: 3.7% (All)

[u]Force Field Generator[u]
You can build a Force Field Generator Drone. It will generate a dispersion bubble that gives all nearby allies increased defense against all attacks including psionic. The dispersion bubble also protects allies from immobilization, disorient and hold effects. The drone will follow you, and can be buffed and healed or even destroyed.
Unslotted Recharge: 15 seconds
Unslotted +Defence: 10% (All)
Duration: 200 seconds

[u]Seeker Drones[u]
You create two Seeker Drones. These Seeker Drones follow you until they detect an enemy and then they will zero in on their targets and detonate on impact. The small explosive flash of energy does on minor damage, but the concussion can weaken foes. Affected targets will have reduced damage, accuracy and perception and may even be disoriented for a short while. You can only ever have two seeker drones out at one time and they can be destroyed by your foes.
Unslotted Recharge: 110 seconds
Unslotted –ToHit: -10%
Damage Debuff: -20%
-Perception: -190%

[u]Triage Beacon[u]
You can plant a Triage Beacon into the ground. The Beacon is immobile, but it emits a powerful healing aura. The regeneration rate of you, or your allies, will be greatly increased as long as you are near the Triage Beacon. The Beacon is invulnerable.
Unslotted Recharge: 200 seconds
Unslotted Regeneration: +190%
Duration: 100 seconds

[u]EMP Bomb[u]
You summon an EMP Bomb in the midst of your enemies. The Bomb immediately sends out a short range psionic signal and hypnotic light display to draw the attention of those nearby, causing them to approach the device. Then it detonates, unleashing a massive pulse of electromagnetic energy, stunning enemies. Additionally, most machines and robots will take high damage. However, this power uses a lot of endurance and leaves you unable to recover endurance for a while.
Unslotted Recharge: 300 seconds
Unslotted –End: -40%

Let me know what you think, guys, give any input, thoughts etc.

I'd much prefer them just to port Traps to be honest. I'd miss Acid Mortar (you've that Sonics thing but it looks less useful than the Mortar), Poison Gas Trap and Tripmine too much.

And Triage at level 35? Yuck. Not overly impressed with Smoke Grenade or the Cloak field either. Do you need both a +stealth and a -perception power in a set?

Trip Mine would be a little overpowered for a Controller, a Grav/Devices would become a new farmer with Wormhole -> onto Mines.

The Sonic Device is exactly the same stat wise to Sonic Siphon, which is a very useful power against AVs and EBs, due to spammed -res.

Its a buffed Triage, quicker recharge and better unslotted +regen. Group Cloaking Device is a group version of Cloaking Device, which is only a stealth power, not invisibility. But, when used with a -perc, it becomes invisibility.

A safe farmer, but not exactly a quick farmer, not with mine set-up times being what they are - I doubt it would displace Fire/Kin as the most efficient loot/time farmer.

And why call it Devices when it's not really much like Blaster Devices (about as close as Traps is to Devices)? Won't that just cause confusion?

Tbh I think /Traps will end up on Controllers eventually because it's easy for the Devs to do, and because Controller and Corruptor secondaries are usually fairly similar numbers-wise and are the same "type" of powersets (i.e. "support", buff/debuff or whatever you want to call them) - and I don't think it will be overpowered, even with Grav/.
