It is quite straightfoward. Said high level character (mostly 50) sidekicks/lackeys low level character, and the high level character goes through the mission with the low level character.
And both characters recieve a suitable chunk of xp for completion of said mission yes?
While Phantom's description isn't actually how powerleveling's done at higher levels - rather more's used to do it "properly" than simple SKing - the higher level options aren't really worth doing in the range you and your wife are involved in at the moment.
So, her SKing you is as good an option as any - and you will both get shares of the defeat and completion xp (with a slightly larger portion to you, as you're effectively a level lower).

First of all, Im not a lover or a supporter of power levelling random strangers, so its something I dont usually do as a general rule, however having with me playing in a pair at any and all times with my wife, along with its many advantages, it also has its drawbacks. Such as when I decide I dont like a character I have created and want to reroll it. I currently have a tanker that I dont feel I can play, so in a moment of inspiration I rerolled said tanker. This leaves my wife in the position of either waiting for me to get back to level 12 (the same level as her character that I was paired with) or we find someway to help me level back up quickly. With one of each AT, we are loathe to exemplar my wife back down to my level until level 12.....
