How do you contact quality assurance?
I don't think you do contact QA, normally - it's an internal department that runs tests on the game to check everything's working properly before release, and investigates/verifies bugs.
Depending on the nature of your problems there might not be a fix that can be applied here and now to sort things out; that might need a fix in the game code itself which will need to be rolled out in a patch. If that is the case "passed to QA" means they're trying to reproduce your bugs, and if they can they'll pass details of it on to the development team. Then it'll be prioritised, and sooner or later a fix might appear on the live servers.
The only way I can see things coming back from QA without going through a patch is if the problem's something like database corruption on your toon(s). In that case if they can reproduce it a dev might make a specific fix on the affected data.
I have reported 4 bugs recently, and after getting me to run the usual totally unrelated tests, dx, everest and hijack this, 3 of them have been closed down and I have been told they have been passed to quality assurance.
Is this a real department or just the default fob off when they dont know what to do.
I have reopened them as they are in no way resolved and still happening, but you would have thought after 4 years, we could have a decent response to bugs and faults.
