Aura of Confusion; How does it work...?

I -assumed- before looking on Mids it was the same as World of Confusion, but I checked on Mids and apparently it's a PBAoE click power?

Can anyone with experience with this power please explain how it works, and give any slotting advice please

It's basically Mind Control's Mass Confuse power, but PBAoE instead of Targeted AoE.

Slotting, just go for a 2/2/2 acc/confuse/rech. It's a brilliant power because it lasts so darn long! Stack with confuse and you can control bosses before they even know you're there, leaving you free to still get a safe crit with lunge, having no retaliation from a mob!

Of course, the recharge is too long to use every mob, but it's not got a bad recharge.

Also, if you're getting +rech from sets, and are on a team w/rech buffs, you can get it up pretty often, and alongside the Nuke, and the Mu cages in my case, you can actually get a pretty decent amount of crowd control out of the Fortunata.

i added the complete set of confuse purples. nice effects and sweet bonues as well, *thts if ur thinking of IO'n
