Is there any way to turn off the annoyingly loud music in some missions?
Just came back after 2 1/2 years, and I guess time had blurred the memories because I don't remember it being quite this annoying.
PS I have music volume set to 0, always do this in games, I want to hear the nasties sneaking up behind me, not the game designer's idea of mood music

Nope, the game engine can't do positional "music", so the music tied to certain areas actually counts as sound. The only way to remove it would be to edit the game files. (which may or may not be against the EULA)
