Rage in the Cage: Making an entrance

Taking part in one of the Cage battles (against Battle Unit Omega) has got me thinking.

Since this is the Superhero version of Wrestling/MMA but with the Charity tournament twist, perhaps people would like to add their choice for character entrance music.

Entrance music has always been a main pull for me when I watch wrestling, the fact it instantly identifies the wrestler without them even appearing.

So:
1) What entrance music would you choose for your character?

2) Why that particular song.

Links to videos is always a good.

So I'll kick it off with Ed aka Sword of Redemptions' entrance music choice.

1) One of a Kind by Breaking point

2) Well there's two reasons really, one RVD was one of my all time favourite wrestlers and for the chorus:

The fear I see when I look in your eyes
Makes you believe I'm one of a kind (one of a kind)
The fear I leave in the back of your mind
Makes you believe I'm One of a kind

Relates directly to his 'signature ability' Touch of Fear which during his one on one arena matches seems to be quite effective (just ask Battle Unit Omega ).

A real showstopper!

The Hatesman

While he's not a participant in the Cage, I do love the idea and really, Hatesman is the Pro-Wrestler Incarnate. He's got the Ego, Theatrics and Build of one, not to mention the dodgy name, grapple fighting style and underground ideals.

With that in mind, he's naturally got his own entrance music! Well, two tracks actually.

First Choice is, Step Up by Drowning Pool.
Initially a good friend and fan of the character sent me this song, and it stuck as Hatesman's first theme song, it's like a battle anthem, it's perfect for his kind of Psyche-Out Psycho approach. Oh and if you like Bleach, or hard hitting action, check out the video link above, because it's one of the best AMV's I've ever seen! *Drools* (Also, if you wanna go deep and freaky, the crazy Mask our hero wears in Bleach is like the Oswald's 'Hatesman' and in the video he's fighting a feral wolf man... Loup Garou anyone?)

Second Choice is, Voices by Disturbed.
Because it's as if the voice in side his head wrote the song. "Someone is gonna die when you listen to me! I'm gonna make you do some freaky sh** now!" It's sick, twisted and brilliantly liberating, the perfect show tune for a guy like Oswald.

Still, Number 1 would be his wrestler music, Number 2 is more like what he moshes to.

It takes Chaos to move the world to Action.

This is a good idea, gives me appropriate music to record onto the fight videos too.
