Got Web Comic?
Well, as secret things go, this is possibly somewhat compromised now you've posted about it here
Are you planning a freebie affair, Scarlet? Or are you going to charge $100 a pop and make us all rich? I think I know the answer, but it's no bad idea to ask
I have to admit I don't post anything on Deviant Art anymore since their service and support is a bit cludgy, so a nice home for my "City of" comic would be swell, as Liberty Girl would say.
ok the site will be free to all viewers.
I will be looking at advertising to cover costs etc at a later date but I have to meet a number of challenges in order to get a marketable site up and doing first. Will you receive any of that revenue? Almost certainly not if you're providing a page a week... but you WILL be getting seen by the great and the good of the comic book word. (NO I'm not naming names at this stage but trust me)
However if I commission you to do something extraordinarily very special there may be a small stipend in it for you - IF the site is paying its way
I did have an enquiry about copyright which I'll respond to here to pre-empt any further questions:

I'm not here to steal anyone's material so obviously contributors retain creative rights over their work (tho the site and content generally is clearly my copyright.) Any external copyright (for example CoX, Paragon City etc etc) remains the copyrightof the respected owners too. So the long and short of that is if you decide to contribute, you get to keep control over your characters and creations

Bottom line it's a fan site and will be run by fans for fans and creators.
And if you have other skilz in webtype stuff, let me know

It's using HyperComics which is .cbcx file, although from now on I'm using ComicLife which was recommended by a friend.
I've had one lying around for a bit. Being hosted might mean I actually get round to updating it. Some of the earlier ones haven't stood the test of time, but I think there's potential.
Important-ish: As Photobucket is silly, you'll need to click Back on the options to the right of the picture to go through them in order.

Ok people
If you have a web comic, I want to host it! I am about to go live with an exciting and innovative comic book web site - and one of the things we'll be featuring is exclusive web comics (possibly 2 or 3 even)
So if you are interested in having your work showcased, I want to see it.
I'm not going to say too much about the site at this stage, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's a secret but we have some genuinely exciting stuff in the pipeline and you can be part of it!
If you're interested PM me here and I'll message you back!
