[/ QUOTE ]AFAIK Capacitors are battery backups that switch on when your main power goes off. Placing it will (as a glitch) have it alive and humming as it isn't detecting any power source and then when placed it detects the main power and goes into standby.
Not sure as I've never been in a raid that lost its generator but that's what I'd think. Just a glitch in the base editor

Theres loads of things that look "alive" when you place them, then go dead when you leave the editor, or zone out then back into your base.
The Aeon Capacitor is just one of them.
So - the short version is - 'keep it there, it's working'?
