"I'll trust you to handle the undead Britanic, I'm afraid I must return to Egypt. I fear for the safety of my accomplice." said the Priest, getting ready to teleport away.
Britanic turned to face Father Pious, and shook his hand.
"Thank you again my friend, until we meet again."
Britanic then turned back to face the others.
"Ok, it looks like we got ourselves a bloody horde of zombies to put down. Bast, Mechano, you best load up them shotguns, and get ready to flex them trigger fingers. Rachel whip us up a storm to put these creeps back into their graves, and Paul get ready to cover them back up again. Il run interference with Bast, and Mechano so you two can do your jobs."
Britanic walked over to Suzi, and kissed her on the lips again. "Give us ten or fifteen minutes, and we will see about getting you home."
"Unless someone brought in a second army, it should be as clear as it was when the, er, 'choir' marched in from over the hill" Powerstone announced. "The first bunch were awfully untidy above ground so I put them back on my way here. Hadn't realised you were saving them for confetti."
Turning to Pious, Paul added, "Good to see you again, Priest. A while since I've been back to Egypt, but give the place my regards"
Paul retrieved the bottle he'd so carefully guarded on his way to the cathedral, "I thought a bottle of bubbly would be appropriate, Eric"
Looking around her at her friends and family, Suzi couldn't help smiling at the strange yet loyal bunch they made. In answer to Rachel's question, she simply hugged her adopted daughter and said "I'm really glad you found us honey, but I think we'll be just fine. I think we can all stroll together ... Lord help anything that decides to trouble us"

The sunlight faded and the confetti littering the nave became dry pieces of dead skin. The Priest was gone and so was the illusion. Moth cathedral was once again dark and eery as the clock neared midnight.
