OT: Personal Home page concept design
Sounds great. /signed
Okay well I resized the logo's, however I have kept them the site's main logo still and re-did the Home font, the background(which can still be changed at a moment's notice, and the aero affect.
Any ideas?

I think it looks really good! Is this a widget like thingy? It gathers info what sites you have visited most and then represents them in an eye candy way?The second version looks better imho
EDIT: For sites that include main site and forum pretty much CoH you could make the Logo split or fade into 2 logos that lead to different aspects of the site. For example i got 2 links for CoX one that leads to the main site one to the forum.

At the moment its a small personal project so it doesn't see what sites you have gone to the most and actively replace them on your home page. As such I've manually edited each logo to be transparent and then blurred etc them.
However if there's someone that could help me find out how to do that I'd appreciate it!
The above concept shot shows you a much more neutral background, and a couple of sites below the aero box at the bottom of the page. Those sites are designed to stay there no matter what sites are put in the aero effect box - static links if you see what I mean.
In that shot, I'd be putting my mouse over the CoH logo, it clears up and appears as a sharp image and the text at the bottom of the aero box shows you where you will go.
If anyone is interested in me making a home page for them I'd be happy to help, just PM me.
As for now, is there any other ideas or suggestions that I could incorporate into the page to make it more useful for a wider audience?
Okay, I'm trying to make life even easier for myself, and I've come up with a concept design to show for it. What I want is that when I load up my browser, I come to a page that has my most visited pages. Now I know that this has been done in Opera with Speed Dial but I'm after something with a little difference.

What I've come up with is a page influenced by Window Vista's Aero Effect. When you load the page up, you would see the left hand columns - the blurred images. This emulates the blurred Aero effect, or at least tries to
Then when you mouse-over the image the right hand column image for that particular website crispens up, you can see what you're clicking and you go there. Visual eye candy galore, but I'm seeking for people's opinions of this.
How could I improve upon this idea, what could be added or what needs to be taken away?
The Background image is easily interchangable, and was designed specifically to be changed at a moment's notice.
So... Ideas?
