God I needed that sleep, y'know? Had a nice long lie in, and now... well, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with the rest of the day. Probaly tidy my appartrment a bit, get the shopping done and watch some TV. Oh, and add an entry to this.
Um... like my job. Yeah, in order to help with my income, Zorielle's set it up so I'm like, a translator for people who have to sign in ASL, so I'm on call for that from 9-5, sometimes I get a call later on and it'll be an emergency, but I'm happy to help out there. I mean, it's good to help out with stuff, y'know?
And I guess I'll talk about my friends a bit more too...
First one has to be Nick... or Nightschild, as I think his codename or whatever is. He's.. well, I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a total crush on him... he's really cool and confident, and part of me wants to be more like him... the other part wants to go out with him but... we'll, he's straight, and I think I'd prefer us to more remain friends... now if only he'd like, not wear that tight fitting Vanguard armour! Especially as he said he doesn't wear anything underneath it...
Talk about getting a guy distracted with just one little comment! He's like... half demon or something, Inc.. Incub...something like that, and it's really embaressing cause he can like, tell if I'm checking him or anyone else out or not. He's probably one of my best friends though, and before I came out, he was trying to help me get more confident with girls.
Speaking of girls, there's like, two major ones in my life.
Firstly is Natalie, well, I always call her Nat. Or Summerberry... kind of a little thing we have. If I was like... well, into girls, I'm sure she and I would be going out. She's still interested in me, even though she knows... I just don't want to like, pull away from her and have her feeling more lonely. She helped teach me to dance and stuff, and use my powers a bit better and tap into my 'hidden potential'. Yeah, she's like, got fire abilities too, but she's not a mutant, I don't think.
But yeah... she has a crush on me, and like, maybe in trying to cheer her up and take her out and stuff I've just made that worse... trust me to screw up, heh.
The other girl is... well, Kara's an odd one. She's a mutant too, I think she can like, manipulate kinetic energy or something... and she's very... well, pink. Excitable. Scantily clad. She like, the other one who helped me come out... I kind of walked her home and she invited me in, and we like, got chatting and stuff, and it just came out. She puts up a front of being a bit of a ... well, y'know, one of those easy girls, but I like, know the truth.
Now if only she'd stop saying that we slept together and running up to kiss me! Poor Nat almost had a heart attack when that happened! We like, shared a bed! And that's it! And she's like, trying to set me up with The Crimson Archer, that guy who was on the cover of Paragon Pride... well, he -is- kinda hot... but...
Hey, I forgot I had these CD's... will have a look through and sort them out later. I'm still like, putting the finishing touches to my appartment, it's between Skyway City and Atlas Park, really nice neighbourhood, and I get the sun on my bedroom window in the morning to wake me up.
Anyway... last friend I'll mention today, cause I think my bagels are almost toasted is Soren. He's from the Isles, but he's always friendly to me, and even got me champagne when I was parolled! He's.. well, he's one of the biggest guys I've ever seen, even bigger than Mr. Campbel... no! Not like that, y'know, tall! And muscular! He's [censored] too, and gave me some really good advice, just like Crimson Archer did...

Phew! What a day... it's just gone half five and I just got back from Unity Tower... it's been real busy, y'know?
I like, had a medical today, that was carried out at the tower. The good news is that my um... little incident with Dyne all those years ago, well, like, two and a half, but still, hasn't done any damage to my body and I'm all okay... My scar from that Rikti warblade that I got back during the invasion seems a little less prominent too, but Zorielle said that it'd like, still be there, even if it faded a little.
Just like, need to hope anyone I go out with likes scars, heh.
Zorielle said my physical results were very good, though I could probably like, do with a bit less junk food in my diet, and she's like, gonna get Jess to teach me how to cook. That's Jessiac Kade, she's one of the nicest people I've ever met, always happy and smiling, and she's like, the worlds greatest cook. Ever! She's like, really special... I saw her lift a truck up before like it was a cardboard box! And she... umm, well, hugs her kitchen utensils, and says it like, makes them cook better which is why her food tastes great.
Hope she's not gonna get me to hug any forks or knives!
Speaking of food, I like, got some new wafflemix and stuff for in case Kara comes around again. She's like, the first person to stop over here, and I'd like for her and others to stop again...
Wonder if I could like, get Nick round here for a sleepover? Get some movies and snacks and the like, maybe some games..
Anyway, like, where was I?
Oh yeah, anyway, after that, Zorielle gave my DNA a bit of a tune-up using one of her machines, I've seen her use it on her daughter, Hannah before, so it was perfectly safe. I like, feel stronger and a bit more in control of my powers already! Oh, yeah, Hannah is Zorielle's adopted daughter, she's a mutant like me, just she uses electricity, and can like, communicate mentally with computers. She's a really good hacker! She's been in Juvvie, and helped me when I went for my parole meeting.
After that, I dropped by the library and got some cookery books, and I'm like, gonna read through them later.
Then after I signed for some people who were visiting the FBSA offices in Paragon, I got my uniform on and went on patrol! BODICIA, that's the AI that runs Unity Tower and the Vigilants who guard it, sent me info on some Council guys up to no good! I dropped by, kicked their [censored] and rescued the people they had kidnapped to try and brainwash and get them to do stuff and all.
Then I head on my commslink that the Tsoo had stolen this special scroll that had like, the mystic powers of a dragon in! So I got looking about and found their base. Had a few total close calls with their weapons, but I was packing more firepower.
... Yeah, I know, bad joke.
I found the scroll, which belonged to a heroine known as Flamestrike who lost her life in the first war, and brought it back to her family where it was stolen from! Go me!
Anyway, like I was saying yesterday, Crimson Archer... or Jay. He's cool... I like, really admire him for being on the front of Paragon Pride. Made me feel better to know there were others out there, yeah, that sounds silly, but... y'know.
Plus I admire him for another reason too, I mean, I'm human, but a mutant too, and from what I know, he's just... human. And yet, he's still out there risking his life, with just a bow and some arrows. That's way cool.
I've got his number... maybe I should call him and just... y'know, chat? His friend, Jon, was quite cool too. I got his number as well. Right, guess I should get dinner going, so it's a wrap for this entry!

Wow, been a few days since my last entry, but I've like, been really busy... where to start.
Ah, yeah. I had my first couple of cooking lessons with Jessica Kade! We like, went to Rolando Island, which is where Zorielle and her family live. It's... I dunno, beautiful's the only word I can really think of. Lush tropical island surrounded by sea and beaches! And the houses are amazing! We went to Jess' house and she showed me lots of stuff about cooking, and I helped make homemade, healthy burgers for lunch that were really tasty too. She's a really good teacher, and nice to talk too.
Even if she did make me hug my kitchenware. *Laughs*
Been training with Cauter, we were in Everett Lake again fighting the Hydra. Making my flame intense enough so that water doesn't damage it as much is hard work, but I'm getting there. Plus I did some work for the police on Sunday, and was finally able to contain my pyrokinetic blasts to really up the intensity!
Then on Saturday evening, Nick and Zorielle went on that team that Mr. Campbel put together... when Zorielle told me that her Gynoid lost an arm... yeah, better explain that now. Zorielle's not a metahuman, it's all in that suit she wears, so in really dangerous situations she like... has a mind link to a female robot that she calls a Gynoid, and sends that into battle. The papers were wondering about that yesterday... anyway, she said that someone died too, a Doctor Helios, and Nick was in hospital unconcious!
I felt sorry for the Doctor... I mean, to die just after accomplishing whatever they tried to do... that's such a waste. And with Nick, well... I managed to get Zorielle to convince the Vanguard to let me see him. It took a day or so, but I was finally able to go and see him on Monday!
I like, went shopping and got Nick some magazines and stuff... was really hard knowing what to get, but I thought about what I might like from when I was in hospital, and then... well, Nick-ed it up a bit.
Not like stealing! Y'know... I got Nick some film and music magazines cause he's mentioned before that he's been trying to read up on that kind of stuff. Even though we're roughly the same age lookswise, I think he's mentioned before that he's much younger and less experienced than that. At least with the normal teen stuff! Then I like, got him some of those magazines that like have, articles and semi-nude girls in. I like, looked through to make sure that it was more than just nude girls, and it was. They had stuff on survival tips, fashion, an interview with a bounty hunter that was kind of interesting to glance at, and other stuff!
And yeah, when I told Nick that, he like, said I was the only guy he knew who could say something like that and be serious about it.
I also got him some snacks and stuff... didn't know what to get, so got a mix really, put them in my bag with my new MP3 player, that I chucked some of my albums onto, in case he wanted to borrow that, and headed off to Atlas Park to head to the base.
When I got there, he was all covered in bruises and hooked up to machines, unconcious still, and his girlfriend Zeyna was really upset, sitting by his bed holding his hand... she like, wanted to go and beat the Rikti up for what they did to Nick, I tried to talk her out of it but... I think she's a bit too stubborn.
And then, Nick started to wake up! I don't know if it was because we were talking loudly or something, but I like, went to get the nurse while Nick and Zeyna chatted a bit... wanted to give them some alone time. They're like, so in love with each other, it's cute...
I like, came in and chatted with them a bit, Nick was being pretty much his usual self, talking about sex and stuff... kinda felt like a third wheel, so I gave him the stuff I picked up for him, chatted a bit more and left. Got teased a bit, and let myself open for some more teasing, seeing as making friendly fun of me seemed to cheer them both up. And invited Nick round to y'know, chill and sleep over some time, like a guys night in. He said yes too, which made me feel a bit better. So I left and let them have their couple time.
Felt like, really down after leaving... I guess living alone again after spending time in the tower with all those people, and... missing my parents and brother, is getting to me a bit, and then seeing them like that, made me feel a bit jealous.
When I got home, I gave Kara a call and asked if she wanted to come over, which she did. Felt nice to have company, especially as she wasn't embaressing me in public like normal! We chatted about stuff, she asked if I've gotten anywhere with Jay, I need to like, call him sometime, and if I've chatted any other guys up, we watched TV, and then I used my new cooking skills to make dinner for us, which came off okay! She liked it, anyway, and we spent the rest of the evening chilling before bed.
We cuddled up and stuff in bed... I think sometime's I kinda like... test myself to see if I'm not really [censored]... but seems like that's not the case. I -like- girls... I just don't -'like'- girls, not physically. I mean, cuddled up to a cute girl wearing not much and... well, nothing? I know the TV sitcoms and the like are overblown in their... umm... rendition of teen boys and the like, but still...
Though it's not like I've been able to try with any guy either. Bed, guy, that reminds me, I need to ask Zori today if I can borrow one of the emergency air mattresses from the Tower for Nick when he comes over. Don't really want to have to put him on the sofa to sleep. It's not that comfortable!
Anyway, got up and showered, and then while Kara was in there I made us breakfast, as normal, before she went home. I think I might visit my parents and brothers graves today... y'know, just to say hi and stuff.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot!
On Saturday, I like, teamed up with these two guys on Talos Island, after getting a disturbance report. Sam, I had met before in Pocket D. He's cool, and Chi's really nice as well. I think they like, have a bit of a thing for each other. Or it might just be playful teasing... I kinda accidently blurted out to Chi that his boyfriend, meaning Sam, was nice, and we got all confused and stuff.
We took on The Council, before rescuing some people from a base, and then Sam had to go off to work at the PPD to work on a vice case or something, so it was just me and Chi, and we went to rescue these people who had been taken by the Devouring Earth! And like... eww, there were these giant pod things there, that were all evil and twisted looking, but me and Chi reduced them to ash! Plus I didn't like, make an [censored] out of myself combatwise, so that's always good.
We rescued one of them in time... but the other... feel kind of bad about that. Anyway, I hope to like, hook up with them again. They're cool.
But till then, I'm like, gonna go and do all the stuff I need to do today, as well as try and remember to call Jay!

Whoa! Last night was totally crazy!
Like, I swung by Pocket D to chat to Isaac and all, that's one of the bartenders there. He's cool. Anyway, I was there and Jon turned up, and we started chatting about stuff. Then some guy asked us what we thought about mutants and started talking about mutant support groups and the like. His logic was kinda confusing, so I was just mostly... y'know, nodding and stuff and trying to work out what he was on about.
After he left, I got talking to Jon again about Kara, and love and relationships and stuff. And about feeling jealous and stuff on Monday. Then I got a text from Kara, and she was all on about Jay again, and I've like, told her that there's like, over ten years between us, but she doesn't listen, cause she was talking to him yesterday and sent me a message saying he'd 'love' to meet up with me, and then was trying to get me to take him to an italian resturaunt in Founders Falls.
Why can't that girl let me find my own boyfriend! I mean, it's sweet of her and all, but still...
Then Jon said I should like, find someone of my own age and experience to... y'know, be with... and then added or a professional, like one of those male prostitutes?! That was sooo unexpected, but I'm not even gonna think about that! He also said I should ask Zorielle for advice, which I might do later!
Anyway, it was getting late, and after some more chatting, we headed off and like, went our own ways, and then I realised I left my phone on the counter! Silly of me, luckily Isaac was keeping an eye on it, so I went back to get it and ran into Suzi. Not like, literally though! That's White Vampyre, she's a hero too, and one of the first people I talked to when I first went into Pocket D. She's like, going out with Britanic, the guy Zorielle was heroing with on Saturday along with Nick, and they're Rachel and Cass' adoptive parents, which is cool!
Also, Chi was there, but he was like... all blonde and totally cute this time, instead of winged and masked and stuff. I didn't recognise him at first! But we got chatting and stuff, and when Suzi realised we were both [censored], started asking if we could help a friend of hers who came out.
Yup. Jay.
It's either Jay or Soren, it seems. And people keep trying to set me up on dates with them!
So yeah, we got talking about them, and then they thought I wanted to go out with him! Sure, he's [censored] and handsome, but I don't like, want to pounce on him or anything! Just... y'know, chat about stuff. And Chi was saying how I didn't look... well, 'legal', y'know, and that it'd be bad if Jay lost his license and got jailed and stuff. That was such a 'what the hell?!' moment for me.
I just want to chat with him, like I was chatting with those two! Doesn't mean I want to go out with them! And I said that, and they apologised... jeez, I'd hate for that to happen to Jay, but I'm like, not interested in going out with him! Like I said earlier, there's like... twelve or so years between us, maybe more! No offence to people who hae an age gap, but it's just not for me!
Chi left after a bit cause he was tired, and I was left chatting with Suzi about stuff... and I told her about how I visited my parents and brother, and how I felt and stuff... and even mentioned that I still blamed myself and haven't forgiven myself for my brothers death. That was hard to do... it's one of those things that I don't like talking about... I mean... no, I'm not going to get into it here again.
Don't want to get myself feeling all down and stuff again, but what Suzi said... helped me a bit to cheer back up and come to terms with some of my stuff. And she even invited me over to hers and Brit's for Sunday lunch, and to chat with the girls too!
I'm like, kinda nervous about that. What should I wear and stuff? And... I mean, I'd be like, having lunch with the leader of the MIlitia and a really known hero! It's like... I'm fine talking to Zorielle and stuff, but I'd still be nervous if she invited me to Rolando Island for dinner with all her family! And that's a lot of family!
I guess I'll like, call and ask or something...
Gah, the time! I need to shave and stuff, cause I got to head to work and translate for someone at City Hall! And yeah, shave! It used to be light and fair enough not to notice, but it's getting a bit more... umm... don't really know how to describe it... noticable? So yeah, shaving. Right... work!

I don't really know how to start this off...
I'll start with the day before yesterday, which was kinda decent... called Jay and chatted to him about stuff, and he like, wants to get my oppinion on his costume and he like. Image change and stuff, which I said I'd be free for. Looking forward to that.
Then... then there was yesterday.
I stopped by Pocket D, hoping to chat to people and stuff, see my friends, and... he was there.
Ryan... Ultimune, he was the first friend I made when I came to the Unity Vigil... I got along with him really well, we hung out, chatted... it was great! Till a month or so ago. He went missing... couldn't get in contact with him, and when I did meet him in PD a few weeks ago, he was changed... not my friend at all. Threatened to gut me! That's so not like Ryan!
Well, he was there again, last night... I got talking to him, he was hanging out in the bar with some crazy Russian... we said a few words and decided to have a friendly spar in the arena. Or at least that's what I thought.
Last time, when we were still friends and all, he easily beat me... this time, even though he was using a freaking sword, I was able to get the upper hand. The match ended and then... he and the Russian guy must have done something, and they started to attack me at the same time!
I never thought he'd sink that low... I was so [censored] stupid! I should have known something was in the works but... no. Even with the Russian and his crazy robots, I was able to fight them off for long enough to get transported out of the arena room. Ached all over though from sword wounds and plasma burns... like, lucky I had my suit on!
He started mouthing off about some group called The Corporation, and how it was between me and them, not just me and him... he's changed so much. I headed off and as soon as I was out of Pocket D, mediported to Unity Tower to get patched up by the medics...
*Sighs*
What's happened to him? I... I just want my friend back, though it's looking more and more like that'll never happen. Zorielle was at the tower, and when I told her... well, she looked scary. She wasn't really angry or anything... concerned for me, yeah, but... she just looked like she meant buisness. She went and cleaned out Ultimune... well, he's calling himself Vultimune now for some reason... cleaned his locker out and went to Pocket D. I'm meeting with her later today to find out how that went...
While I was resting up in the medbay, Jay called. He was like, really concerned for me, which was sweet, and asked if I wanted him to speak to Zorielle for me, but I said that was fine... I don't want to get the Unity Vigil involved in this, not if it brings them trouble... but if Ryan gets his stupid little friends involved, then... well, guess I'll have to.
Anyway, where was I?
... Oh yeah, Jay! Well, he made sure I was fine, and was probably calling about discussing his costume or something in PD... but what with my injuries and what happened earlier, I felt like just getting some bed rest. Still, we called a raincheck on it, I think that's the word they use, anyway, and I went to get some rest. It was odd, not sleeping at my place... kinda missed it, but got home a few hours ago and did some tidying and stuff.
Need more milk, by the way. Anyway, I've got another cooking lesson with Jess, so I should get to Rolando Island soon, then go and see Zorielle... hmm, I've got patrol duty today, though looks like I'm being partnered with...
Oh, it's Eloise. That'll be cool. That's Mike's girlfriend. She's really nice... might see if she wants to take a break at some point and grab an ice cream, though I think Mike said that she's like, lactose intolerent...
Do they y'know, do lactose free ice cream?
Something to find out! Guess she could always have a fruit ice lollypop or something!
Anyway, I'm going to have to be on watch just incase anyone tries something. Just as I thought life was getting better... still, not going to let this get me down, y'know? Just need to be a bit more cautious than normal.

Hey again, another entry, though kinda rushed seeing as I'm getting ready to go to lunch with Suzi, Britanic, Cass and Rachel! Damn, where'd I put those socks I got out...

Ah, got them! Anyway, last night I was in Pocket D chatting to Isaac as usual, and Soren turned up! Soren's a really nice guy, can't remember if I mentioned, he like, got me and Nat some champange when I got parole, and Doc Mechano was like, trying to set us up with each other, but we're not really each others type. Still, he's a good friend! Anyway, I got talking to him, and then some of his friends from the isles turned up, like Tress, who thought she was y'know, interrupting something between us.
Soren said that my hero name made me sound tasty, which didn't help, mostly cause I started blushing and stuff! That made Tress -really- think there was something between us! And then some big guy called Freddy came over to chat too, he was nice. It's odd really, it's like... everyone from the Isles is really big and muscular!
Must be something in the water or something, I dunno...
Anyway, we got talking about being metahuman and powers, and school and stuff too. Then some others turned up, one was called... Becki, I think, she was talking to Soren, and then Tiger White arrived too. She's like, Tiger Dark's twin sister or something, except she's a Peacebringer, not a... damn, almost out of anti-persperant.
Where was I? Oh, yeah, Eloise is a Warshade, Ellie is a Peacebringer. They're both nice though. She asked how I was after that buisness with Ultimune, and we chatted about stuff and just enjoyed the evening before she needed to head off. It was getting pretty quiet downstairs, so I said bye to Soren and went to wander about and see if those really odd people were still at the upstairs bar, but thankfully they weren't.
Instead, I met Nick and Sarah! Well, not the Sarah I know, that's like... Sarah-A or 1 or something. This one dresses just like Nick, but she's Sarah's dimensional twin or somesuch... don't know how I'd feel if I had another me running about! Nick teased me a little about stuff, and I teased him back, kinda how it goes now. Plus he was talking about Zeyna too, like usual... glad he's happy and all.
We got talking about some other stuff, kinda hard to remember, must have been a bit tired. Then I saw Mr. Campbel and Rebecca again, but I soon had to head off so after just seeing how they were and how others were and saying bye, I wandered downstairs. Jon was there again, so I waved to him and headed off.
... Gah! Look at the time, nuts, I really need to hurry and get ready, so I'll like, say bye now and then do another one when I get back from lunch! Till later!
Oh yeah, while I quickly remember, they do do lactose-free ice cream, but I couldn't find it that time. Me and Eloise had fruit ices though, but I like got, total brainfreeze from mine! Plus I learnt how to cook fish in lots of different ways at Jess'. Can't wait till next lesson.

I'm stuffed! Phew, it's just gone half five and I only just got back from Founders Falls... man there was a lot of food! Where to begin...
Well, I trainhopped to Founders through Skyway, and it took me a while to find the building I was in, and well... whoa! They really have a nice apartment! Everyone was there, and I said hi to Suzi and Britanic, well, Eric... still feel like calling him Britanic though. Just... y'know, doesn't seem right to call him by name yet!
And the views! They were gorgeous! You could see most of Founders Falls as it was the penthouse, and they had two balconies to look over the city with, plus really cool large windows in the lounge! Better than my view from my windows, by a ton!
Well, Cassidy and Rachel were there, and it was great to see Cassidy again! The two gave me a tour of some of the rooms, and I chatted with Cass a bit. Was a little embaressing when she asked if I had a girlfriend yet, especially as I think she was a bit interested in me before... I guess I was a little as well, but like, the same way I like Nat and Kara...
Oh yeah, speaking of rooms, the place was decorated really nicely, there were even marble floors in some of the rooms, and Suzi had her own music room with recording studio! That got me really impressed! Wonder why she didn't sing at the Rock against the Rikti concert...
So I like, told her about me and stuff, and she seemed to take it well, and we got chatting about various teen stuff with Rachel while Suzi and Britanic were in the kitchen. Britanic did the cooking I think, cause we had like a 'traditional' sunday roast, like they'd have in England, which was really delicious if rather stuffing!
There was roast beef and roast potatos and vegetables and something that Britanic called Yorkshire Puddings, not sure what to make of them, but they were nice if filling! Might have to ask Jess about that!
We were chatting about all sorts up the table, well, when not eating of course, cause that'd be rude, stuff like Cassidy getting depowered, life in the Unity Vigil and other hero stuff, and teen stuff and lots of other things. Then while Britanic was clearing away, we were chatting about music, cause Suzi used to be in a band called the Gothic Overtones, and then more stuff in general.
Yeah, we like, talked about a lot of stuff!
And Rachel said stuff that made me blush as well, was a bit shocking! She's like a female Nick for making me blush that much!
Anyway, there was this chocolate pudding for afterwards, but I couldn't finish all of mine, it was a bit too... I dunno, not chocolatey... just, eh, well, I left some, and offered to help clear them away and wash up and stuff, but Suzi wouldn't have any of that, so I spent more time chatting.
Was like, amazed I could find so much to talk about, sometimes it feels like I can run dry on some stuff, but I guess with five people there was plenty of input and the like to keep things going.
So, I spent a good few hours then, thanked them a lot for having me over and made my goodbyes, got a hug from Cassidy too, before I walked back to the station. It was pretty quiet, and really nice along the waterside. Was tempted to stop for a drink at one of the cafes if I wasn't so full and it wasn't so expensive!
Three dollars fourty for a glass of coke? That's like, more than double the price!
Seeing as I didn't want to walk through Skyway, I got off at Steel Canyon and walked down past Blyde Square and did some windowshopping. Was good as I wanted to burn off some of what I ate, can't be getting fat and lazy as a hero! Saw some stuff, new clothing and some films, but those'll have to wait till next payday so I can see how much I can afford. Maybe a shift of clothing so I don't keep getting told I look like an 80's rocker!
I saw Eloise and Mike doing the shopping at a Mighty Mart near where they lived, they make such a cute couple. Plus like, Mike's lightened up since he's been going out with her, which is always good. He can be a bit serious at times. Seems like he knows Tress and Freddy from last night too!
Grabbed the train to Atlas after my walk and then wandered back home. What with being a hero and all, I sometimes like, forget that Paragon is a really nice city to be in at times and in places, when.. y'know, you haven't got Rikti or other things trying to invade or people holding whatever to hostage.
Now, I think I'm gonna go and fall down on my bed and chill out for a bit to music, so till next time!

Hey! Just like, cleaning up now from last night. Nick came over and spent the night! Just hope he enjoyed himself and stuff.... where'd I put that case for the mattress...
Anyway, I got in from work and quickly got changed out of my work stuff, cause Nick was heading over soon and I wanted to make sure I had everything ready, and then he suddenly appeared in the lounge! No knocking on the door or anything. It scared me, but he had a point that he's like, still wanted and didn't want to be seen.
So, I like, gave him the tour of the appartment and stuff, oh! Forgot to mention, my new computer desk, and the PC to go on it arrived today! Nothing fancy, just something to check my emails and stuff on, plus I can upload my voice diary entries to it to have more space! Just need to like, sort out net access here, cause 56k is soooo slow!
Nick looked through my DVD collection while I found the menus for dinner, we decided on pizza and Nick ordered this huuuuge one with tons of meat and stuff on! Guess he must have been hungry. I ordered a smaller one, and we got some wings and garlic bread to go with it as well, and chatted about various stuff and films and the like while we waited for the pizza to arrive. Nick chipped in with the costs, which he didn't have to do at all, but it was thoughtful of him, and then we decided to watch Pitch Black, y'know, with Vin Diesel?
I really like the film, even though I get a little jumpy at bits, plus Vin Diesel's kinda cute... anyway, we finished our dinner, and Nick was pointing out plot holes, but I kept telling him it was just entertainment! I think he still needs to learn not to take these things so seriously. Though, he played a dirty trick on me! When I was getting jumpy when they were running to the ship, he used his powers to grab my back and made me almost have a heart attack! He then burst out laughing!
I tried to be all angry and stuff, but soon I was laughing as well, and we finished watching the film without any more of that! We then went into my study like place where I've got my PS2 set up, and we played some Tekken, though Nick was quite bad at it. Still, I think that might have been the first time he ever like, played on a console, so it's understandable! We joked about it a bit and wandered back into the lounge.
Snacking was had, and we started to chat about stuff over drinks, like his girlfriend Zeyna. I like her a lot but... y'know, I'm also a little jealous of her too? It'll pass, I'm sure, and I try not to think about it too much. We got on to talking about me and boyfriends and the like, and I kinda admitted that I didn't have a clue what to do with one when the time came, y'know? And Nick phoned a friend of his, called Dinah, and she was really friendly and gave me advice, though my cheeks were burning by the end of it!
Plus he was saying he'd pay for me to go and see her, and that was a bit of a "what the?!" moment, y'know? I mean... I am kinda curious about... that, but I'm pretty damn positive that it's guys that I like! Then we got on to talking about... umm, gah, I'm even embaressed to say it here! Well... he kinda asked who I.. um... 'thought' about, and y'know, seeing as he was -right- next to me I burried my face in a cushion! Almost died from embaressment!
He was fine with it though, and after less embaressing chat, it was getting late so I cleared the stuff away and helped Nick set the air mattress up, before we went to bed. This morning, while he was grabbing a shower and stuff I made him breakfast, he was in the mood for waffles, so I put them on while I had some toast and eggs and bacon, cause I've got a long day ahead of me today!
Anyway, that's the mattress put away, I'll take it back over to Unity Tower, then I've got to go to Talos Island to spend the day with Mike, More learning experience! Ah well... now, where'd I put my uniform...

Mmorning... I hate late nights, and yesterday was rather tiring too! Just gonna put some toast on before starting... and a cup of tea.

There, much better! Anyway... yesterday, me, Mike and Lance went to Steel Canyon, seeing as Zori asked us to get some supplies for the base. We were chatting away and stuff, and had just done the shopping when these two people emeged out of nowhere and started to attack us! One had this big mace and almost took Mike's head off with it in the first moments of attack! And the other was this guy who was only a year or so older than me, and he could fly and was really strong!
Well, Mike was in a bad mood at almost getting clobbered, and with a flash of light changed into his uniform and flew up to teach her some manners, and Cauter changed into his battle armour and went after the other guy, with me providing support fire for them. It was a tough battle, especially when the guy came at me, but I was able to blast him back with a bolt of flame, and then Mike smashed him into the ground using his powers! We were able to arrest both of them and sent them off to be questioned, and brought the supplies back to the base.
I then went on patrol, and helped clean some Hellions out from a warehouse they were using as a den. I don't like fighting Hellions, as some of them are a bit too used to flames for me to be really good against them, but I still beat them!
I swung by Pocket D, and Mr. Stone, or Paul, was there. He worked with Zorielle a couple of weeks ago on that mission! Jon was there too earlier, but I missed him head off cause I needed the bathroom. I got chatting with Paul, and there was this girl called Liberty Girl, or Linda, and she seemed nice too. Then I got a call from Hannah, who needed my help, so I said my byes and went to help her out!
We got in disguise to creep into an Outcast Rave! She dressed me up like some gothy emo boy, and she was dressed like a punk chick, and we went to Eastgate, well, The Hollows now, to investigate at this old mall. The music was so loud! We had some food that was surprisingly good, and a few drinks too as we snooped about, and we accidently got in a few fights in this like, fight cage! But me and Hannah easily took them down! Then Hannah went to chat to some people, before we finally got out at like, 2 am and headed back to the tower.
I got changed out of the stuff and headed home to crash... mmmh, I love this new toaster, does the toast just right!
Not got much planned for today, though I'm thinking of inviting Kara over for dinner and stuff, maybe watch a film too?
Damn, got to go shopping too, I'll call her first and see what she wants for dinner, might as well use my new cooking skills somehow, seeing as Nick didn't want me to cook for him. Maybe next time... I also need to give Jay a call too, I like, saw this bit on TV, and some jerk was slagging him off! What a *******... he was all conseravative and really nasty to people, I hate guys like that!
Better wash up from breakfast and grab a pen and paper, start working out what I need. Oh yeah, the PC's set up now! Going to get ADSL set up soon too, so should be able to surf the internet and check my email!
Gah! I still have eyeshadow and mascara on! I better go and wash that off... till next time, diary!

Whoa... just.. whoa.
Yesterday was eventful!
Well, Kara came over and was her usual self, like, wearing a tiny pink dress and bursting in to hug and kiss me, was good to see her though! We went through and I put dinner on, we had trout and vegetables and stuff, cause Kara's a vegetarian, but she can eat fish and stuff, then we went out to wait on the balcony and chat while dinner cooked.
She was talking about her normal stuff, like if me and Jay are going to get together, and I was like "No! We're just friends!" but you know Kara... and then she started going on about how she was looking at [censored] websites to find out tips for me, and then started to recommend... uhh, toys and stuff! Now that was embaressing! And then about how she like... has dreams about me and stuff!
Never expected that! I hope she remembers that I like guys, unlike Nat... poor girl, haven't seen her in a while too... hope she's okay and all.
Anyway, Kara really enjoyed dinner, and then I went to show her my new PC, and she got me to look on one of those sites she was looking at, and pointed out various things and the like... thought there was no point in arguing with her and decided to look... but I think it's going to be a while before anything like that gets bought by me!
Heading back into the lounge, Kara picked out the film we were going to watch, and picked 'My Best Friend's Wedding' while I got us some strawberry cheesecake to eat while watching, and we cuddled up and stuff during the film. It's nice, y'know, just chilling with a friend!
Afterwards, we got chatting about guys and stuff, and she mentioned about like, practicing making out and stuff when we were talking about experience, and then like suggested that we should! I was a little embaressed at that but we did, and...
Well, I mean, it was nice and all, but... just wasn't any like, spark there, which I guess is a good thing, and hopefully I'll like, have that when I kiss someone I really like! Well, more than a friend that is, cause I like, already really like Kara as a friend. Umm... anyway!
We went to bed soon after, and I was up early cause... uhh, nevermind, but I tidied up from last night and got Kara breakfast, waffles as usual, and chilled out a little before I had to get showered and changed for work, so I said bye to her and let her out.
Anyway, I need to get hoovering and stuff while dinner finishes cooking, so till next time!

Just a quick update really while I'm getting ready for work!
Last night after dinner, I went to the statue in Galaxy City, and met up with Ellie there, that's Tiger White, she's kind of Eloise's sister in a sense. She had this suit of armour on with odd whiskers, and we were chatting about them when Spearmint showed up! Was good to see him again, he went back to Canada for a bit.
Anyway, we were chatting and the Rikti attacked! So I got in my hero costume and we teamed up with the others there, and when they started teleporting in I kicked [censored]! Well... singed armour. But you know what I mean! Lucky Ellie was there, she took out one of their Mentalist guys who was trying to sneak up on me, but I knew he was there!
Afterwards we got chatting again, and Ellie decided to head home cause she was tired from being in the War Zone for a while that day, which is fair enough! Still not sure about the whiskers on her battle armour though...
I got chatting with Spearmint afterwards, though he always does a little bit of flirting too! Just usual chatting about stuff, some joking around, and talked a bit about Nick too. He said I should like, try to turn him or something, which just shows he doesn't know Nick! But I'd never do that, I mean... if someone likes someone, they like someone, and trying to change their mind to like someone isn't a thing I want to do!
Even if Nick is cute...
Anyway, I was tired from the bit of a late night and an early rise, so I said bye to him and headed home to get some rest. Got much more sleep tonight, though I had a bit of a nightmare about my past with the Skulls and the like...
I'm trying not to think of that now, it'll just put me in a bad mood for the day ahead. Cooking with Jess tomorrow, I think I'm doing quite well!

Just back in time for lunch from translating at City Hall, and I swung by Wave Records to get some new CD's too. Well, by new, I mean, ones I don't have yet! Yesterday was fun, though I got a little sunburned when I was in Jess' garden, picking vegetables with her to cook with. She was telling me how I shouldn't just like, grab any old one in the store or the first to hand, but check them over to make sure I'm getting the best I possibly can, cause that makes the food more delicious.
Also did some baking too, kind of tempting to grab some ingredients from the store when I finish work later and get some stuff to make some when I get home. Plus it'd make the appartment smell nice too.
Last night after work and stuff, I swung by Pocket D a bit late to get a drink, and met Jon and Kanae there. Kanae's cool, she's with the Unity Vigil as well, and is like a Gynoid, which means she's a robot built like a woman. I get along well with her! We got chatting about stuff, and later on Jay turned up! Though I got called away for a bit due to work and stuff, and when I got back Jay and Jon were just leaving, but it was nice to talk to them again.
Made plans to meet up with Jay soon, hopefully nothing will come up, and also chatted to Kanae for a bit about her coming over to watch some DVD's too. I always like company here, cause it's like... nice to have friends and stuff.
Isaac got me to run something over to the Monkey Club bar after Kanae left, and while there I saw Nick and Zeyna! I was gonna go over and say hi, but they were like, making out and stuff, so... I thought I'd give them there space and such. On the way out, there was this woman smirking at me for some reason... she was eyeing me up a bit too! She was -really- tall, with pale blonde hair and not much on, apart from this tight fitting green stuff. Wonder who she was?
Ah well, got my dinner ready! No more microwave food for dinner, instead I've like got, a wholemeal bun with ham and salad and stuff in! A bit more time to make, but it tastes great, and I won't have Zorielle shouting at me at my medical again.
Need to get changed after this into my Unity Vigil stuff. Hannah's gone to Tokyo with her girlfriend to do some reporting on some computer games show they have there, so Tessa, that's Zori's wife, asked me to check in on some stuff for her, y'know, covering while Fuse is away. Hope I'm up to the job!
Gonna stick on one of my new CD's while I eat, so later!
Oh yeah, I like, saw Doctor Mechano on Tuesday, and he was at Unity Tower, wanting to speak to Zorielle or Tessa! Wonder if he's going to join up with us... and he like, asked about Jay too!
.... Aww great, if he does join, is he going to try and set me up with some of our members? Like Xander? That's one of Zorielle's androids, he's really quiet, but nice. He's great at drawing too... might see if I can get some of his work to hang on the walls, the place looks a little bare still...

So... umm... hey me, or whoever'll like, be listening to this thing. Guess I should like... umm, what do you do with a voice diary?
I guess I'll start off with me, then...
My name's Ryan Andrews. I'm 17, a guy, duh, and... well, several other things too. I'll like, get to that later. I'm American, I also like, know American Sign Language, I work as a translator, thanks to Zorielle... gah, getting myself muddled up here.
Alright, I'm like, a mutant. Y'know, like in those comic books, except... not. I'm a Pyrokinetic, I've been told. I think I get what that means, but simply, I can like, create fire. And I'm also like, Pyromorphic... so I can shape it too, not just my own fire, but others too. Pretty snazzy, huh?
And I'm part of a group of heroes, who like, do stuff for the city. They're called the Unity Vigil, and I'm like, one of their newest members. I just got inducted a couple of weeks back to being a full member. Before I was like, only a junior one. Cause I was on probation.
Yeah, I'm one of those kids who hung around with a bad crowd. Got me sent to Juvvie, where I then got on the MYRS program. That's like... uhh... 'Metahuman Youth Reformation Scheme', but basically they like, help young mutants like me make something decent of themselves, and I guess it's like, done it's job for me. They like, put a chip in your neck, called a Behavioural Reinforcement Modification Chip. Or something like that. It like, monitors you, can stop you from swearing, or even take your powers away. Scary, huh? Mine's out now, luckily. Was getting a little uncomfortable there.
I'm... well, like an orphan too. My parents died when I was 12... they were like, deaf, both of them, so that's where I picked ASL up from. And my little brother died 2 years later... due to me, and 'Dyne. But... I'll like, get to that in another entry, if I can like remember to keep this thing updated! Hahahah...
Gonna try real hard though to keep this thing up to date. Promise. I dunno why... I just want to record some of this stuff down, y'know?
The most recent thing to develop about me is that... well, I'm one of those guys who, y'know, likes other guys.

My friends have all been cool about it though, as have my workmates... who're like, my friends anyway, so I didn't really need to add that bit. They're like, supportive and stuff. Some of them are even trying to find a boyfriend for me, which is nice I guess but... well, I don't want to like, rush things.
Man, I'm yawning like a good'un here... should probably turn in soon, it's been a long day, but I'll just like, make a few more entries. Like, about my friends.
There's Cauter, for a start. Or Lance. He's cool, he's my main mentor at the Unity Vigil. Mutant, like me, he can like, make chemicals that burn in his body, and he's got this way cool suit that lets him ignite that and gives him firey abilities. He's a nice guy, smart, kind, caring... seems a little under his girlfriends thumb, if y'know what I mean, but Lyn... well, Lyn's like that. She's like, 8 foot tall, and really muscular... I've met her a few times, she seems nice though, if scary looking.
Like I said, Lance is my mentor, he trains me in my powers and tactics and the like, goes on patrol with me, that sort of thing.
Then there's Mike, my other mentor. Or Storm Sapphire. Well, really, his name's like, Michael, and he's a police officer and a Peacebringer. Y'know, one of those Kheldian bonded people. With the Awakened Division or something, but he's in the Unity Vigil too. He's a cool guy, and his girlfriend Eloise is really sweet. He's not very cop-ish when I talk to him, well, the bad kind anyway, he's a good cop, and it's like, really hard to believe that he used to be a woman. I can remember seeing her... well, him now, presenting the weather in the mornings.
Zorielle, or Zortel, she's like, the leader of the Unity Vigil... she's motherly most of the time, and one of the smartest women I know, but she can be a bit scarey, y'know? She's just like, got that vibe about her that I wouldn't want to cross her. Still, she's always nice to me, and helped me get my new apartment and job.
Damn, I really need to get to bed now... spent most of the day with Cauter on patrol in Faultline... and then I bought this voice diary thing. Other than that, not much happened today... so like... um, night? I'm gonna crash on my bed and get a nice lie in, I don't need to be out helping keep the city safe or translating for deaf peopel tomorrow, so can relax... and get this filled in more.
